First off, I'm not "you guys". I have no political allegiance. I've said in other posts that if a thorough search was made of the residents of the past Presidents, and yes that includes Bush, more classified material would probably be found.

Second, the charge as I understand it is the mishandling of classified materials. I get you want to argue this different levels BS, but classified is classified. We know of at least 3 politicians who have done the same, Clinton, Biden, and Pence, yet no charges. Not even a peep for the latter two. If "no one is above the law", then they should be facing charges. But, of course, some people ARE actually above the law.

It seems you're perfectly happy with the law being applied based on politics. I, otoh, want, as another poster pointed out, consistency. The law should be applied equally, and politics should not matter.

I agree 100%, but Trump's refusal to acknowledge he had any such documents despite evidence caused him the issues. Once again, it is his arrogance that drives a lot of this. I am not discounting the improper motives of the other party because that is definitely at play and a significant issue and problem.

Even if this is law enforcement being weaponized, none of you thinks it’s criminal. None of you even thinks it’s impeachable conduct. We know this because you were perfectly fine with Trump trying to do to Biden what you now claim Biden is doing to Trump and you’re literally calling for a future president to do it again.

Sounds like it was the active efforts to prevent the recovery of the documents that caused his problems. The rest is spot on.

As this one progresses no matter how long it takes leaks will be done of tapes, more witnesses will come forward and there will be nothing to stop it. Trump will be charged with more crimes.
If Trump is Elected President then we will see Impeachment proceedings start immediately.

I agree, but there are legitimate impeachments. It is looking more likely that Trump was correct about Burisma, so the wrong person was impeached.
Anybody not seeing the DOJ, which should be apolitical, play politics after all the discoveries is lying to themselves.

Because Trump has a bigger following than any Dem and if Biden runs again you won't have near the "anyone but Trump" vote that was there in 2020. Only the hard core Dems will be out pulling that lever for Biden, those that voted against Trump will either stay home or vote for him this time around. Biden has been an unmitigated disaster and only those blinded by partisanship can't see it.

Now with that being said, I hope like hell Trump withdraws and stays out of the election completely.
