Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

Trump should have used the DOJ to attack his political opponents before they attacked him.
That it didn't happen, wasn't from a lack of effort on Trump's end.

‘Where are all of the arrests?’: Trump demands Barr lock up his foes

^^^^ This was Donald Trump, less than a month away from the 2020 Presidential Election, using Twitter to encourage Attorney General William Barr, to arrest his opponent, Joe Biden.

So now, using the DOJ to target a political opponent is a bad thing, Donny? Cry us the Mississippi River.

I recall James Comey announcing Hillary Clinton was still under investigation on the eve of the 2016 election and Trump himself weaponized that and you fools ate it up. Clinton sat through hearing after hearing led by Republican congress members and what was the result of that investigation? Nothing.

Sussman was just found not guilty by a Leftist DC Jury, even after admitting his guilt. Of course nothing came of the Clinton investigation or any investigation into the UniParty. Clinton, Bush, Cheney, Biden, etc all walk free. Nothing to see here.

You mean Trump was ordering Barr to do his job after it was found that the FBI lied to the FISA Court repeatedly to illegally obtain warrants to spy on him and his administration?

Yeah, sure, that is the same thing.

... or maybe we realize that the current FBI Director, Christopher Wray, is a Trump-nominated Republican. Therefore, we will wait for some public disclosure concerning the content of the documents seized during the raid at Mar-A-Lago.
The daft Wray sent a battalion of FIB agents to investigate a pull cord on an Alabama garage door.

LOL!!!!!!

You just confirmed the point of that post. Thank you.

The Republicans / Conservatives / Trump supporters who post to this forum, have a very clear double standard for what is acceptable conduct for Republicans vs Democrats.

Trump was more of all the things people hated about Hillary than Hillary was. He’s an unlikeable yankee, crooked, rude, undeservedly arrogant, and he insulted everybody who didn’t give him the adoration he thought he was entitled to.

I dont think most people hate Hillary for those reasons. I think they hate Hillary because they know the Clintons are corrupt as hell and treated as being above the law.

Look, I get it, dont hate the player. It must be nice to be one of the King's men, but dont expect the public to love them for it.

What happened to the party of law and order? If Trump failed to return documents he had to by law, after repeated requests that he do so, what’s his culpability? Is he not held to the same laws as anyone else? And let me guess, Trump is going to have another round of fundraising emails saying how you have to destroy all the bad guys so give him more money. The sad thing is you fools will absolutely give him more of your money.

Stop being such drama queens and looking for conspiracies everywhere.
You mean stating that "Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. " - James Comey

This is just one example of Liberal privilege. As stated many times, the investigations by Trump would be accepted by many Republican if the accusations actually were true. Instead, distractions. Comey stated the accusations prior to the election were true. So law and order is accountability being held regardless of the letter before the name. Another example of liberal privilege, "no one is above the law" which is a phrase Pelosi likes to get news clips with. Unless your last name is Pelosi, then you had the law a card to get out of a DUI. But again, this is just conspiracy theory by the left because of lack of integrity or acceptance.

I think your TDS is clouding your vision.
I know hypocrisy when I see it.

Trump supporters defended and even justified his tweets in October of 2020, which called for Barr to have Biden arrested... but now, Trump is the victim of persecution by a political opponent?

Sure.

I don’t expect anybody to love them. I voted against both party candidates in 2016 and voted for Gary Johnson (and Romney before that and McCain before that and Bush before that).

I called her crooked and thought that covered what you said.

As for the rest, calling trump supporters deplorable got a lot of attention. Her lack of emotion over the Benghazi stuff was used against her to make her seem callous and cold. She was also calculating, which nobody would ever accuse Trump of being.

I don’t have specific examples in mind for the rest but her overall pattern of conduct speaks to her arrogance, rudeness, and overall yankee-like behavior.

This is what I fear. Have things gone too far and we are inexorably heading down the path towards a civil war? How close are we? Within 20 years? 30 years?

Those in power are arrogant enough to think they have control over it and can maintain the status quo, but the election of Trump proved they were wrong. I do give the left credit for one thing: they have realized they cannot ignore the military and are taking steps to gain control over it and the police. The top brass of the military now is filled with woke liberals and they're moving fast to reduce the conservative bent of the rank and file and field-grade officers. I believe that is what all the Defund the Police was about; they were sending a message to those in law enforcement to play the game their way.

This is why, if Trump were to win and GOP control Congress, the best thing he could do is oversee a peaceful breakup of the Union.

We've come to the end of this political experiment and shocker...it evovled into a corrupt Authoritarian State, as the Founders feared.

I voted Bush in 2000, my first election, realized that was a huge mistake and voted Libertarian in 2004. Sat out the Presidential in 2008/2012 as there were no good candidates.

Then the weak lefties will just flock to the other side and try to continue down their same path. They can’t make it on their own.

If things continue like this for the next 20-30 years it’ll be too late for a civil war.

overall yankee-like behavior (because Arkansas wouldn't elect her). Tolerated hate by the left led by those in the front.
