Federal Indictment of Donald Trump

My stance is the same as it's been from the beginning. If you do something this extreme you better find something major. I've not waivered on that. I'm skeptical for two big reasons. One, they've not told us anything yet. Two, the entire government under Biden, especially the justice department, has been insanely and overtly political.
Wouldn’t them not telling us anything yet be more incriminating? Trump has the warrant and what they were looking for. If it was random knick knacks and a cocktail napkin, wouldn’t Trump release that? It would be a huge plus for him.

on the topic of too many laws - this book is entertaining

Have you ever clogged a toilet in a national forest? That could get you six months in federal prison. Written a letter to a pirate? You might be looking at three years in the slammer. Leaving the country with too many nickels, drinking a beer on a bicycle in a national park, or importing a pregnant polar bear are all very real crimes, and this riotously funny, ridiculously entertaining, and fully illustrated book shows how just about anyone can become—or may already be—a federal criminal.

I’m betting sexual positions are in there.

But yes, it is funny and disgusting. Might need to purchase that.

it’s not worth arguing with that guy. He will take a partial point, spin it, and go of on a random tangent. Then call you dumb for not seeing things his way.

If they found something, wouldn't they have charged him already? I'm not convinced the warrant would actually tell us much. Just that they have permission to search.

This is year 6 of investigations and we've still got nothing. And this is from the same DOJ that has been taking openly political stances under Garland.

Clinton turned over the computer. What was the FBI going to search her house for?

Oh Lord..that forensic investigation that took a whole weekend? The FBI agents should of been awarded medals for their efficiency efforts

pretty sure the answer is there was no subpoena - which begs the question of why
You know why, this was a political witch hunt and the witches didn't think they would get caught with their panties down around their ankles with Trump being out of town.

They were provided emails not laptops, phones, or servers. They would have searched for her phones, computers, laptops, tablets, and servers.

So your crime is a possible oversight (we don’t even know for a fact it happened, they may be declassified)?

And you’re defending this? Would you have defended a raid on the Clinton home right before the presidential election?
This board defended an FBI investigation into Hillary's emails two weeks before an election...

I don't recall there being an outcry about precedent and a bias in government when that happened.

********.

You know how many federal laws exist? More than any of us can keep up with?

You ever gambled prior to online gambling or at a casino? Shared your Netflix password?

And how we doing with respect to immigration laws?

I don't gamble or share my Netflix password, but I'm curious as to the criteria you would apply to decide which laws we should or shouldn't enforce.

The president is the one who determines what is and is not classified. Hard to claim he violated a federal here. Also seems very similar to the Hillary situation yet there was no fbi raid on her home, she was known to have broken the law, and yet they refused to prosecute here.

So why is this being treated different?
Seems to be an awful lot of speculation in this. What documents did Trump keep and did he declassified them before he became a former president?

The investigation happened 2 weeks before the election because of bias in government that drew tremendous public interest. The fbi knew about the email issue and had ignored it until the public outcry forced their hand.

Surely you remember that part right?
