What would happen if, for example, these guys went into a black neighborhood and started burning it down? Think they'd prioritize that?
Depends on who was doing the burning.

Black group doing the burning? They dont care.
White blm type group doing the burning, they dont care.
Somewhat right white group talks about it. Lock up the racists after investigating for months.

This sums it up

The key difference between a democracyand a republic lies in the limits placed on government by the law, which has implications for minority rights. Both forms of government tend to use a representational system — i.e., citizens vote to elect politicians to represent their interests and form the government. In a republic, a constitution or charter of rights protects certain inalienable rights that cannot be taken away by the government, even if it has been elected by a majority of voters. In a "pure democracy," the majority is not restrained in this way and can impose its will on the minority.

Most modern nations—including the United States—are democratic republics with a constitution, which can be amended by a popularly elected government. This comparison therefore contrasts the form of government in most countries today with a theoretical construct of a "pure democracy", mainly to highlight the features of a republic.

A republic is a type of democratic government.
We are a constitutional republic which is a specific instantiation of a representative democracy which all western countries are. We are organized in a federalist Government which imbues the state governments with very strong authority and is different from a unitary government like say France.

What you are doing now is what is always done when the democracy card is played. Ignoring all of the other defining traits of our government while just focusing on that one word and pushing a unitary control narrative based on a head of state you want to be directly elected by the people. We are so far away from that stance it’s laughable every time you guys pull this tripe.

When she put her/his/xem/xe "hand on the bible" she never imagined that she would have been targeted for death for doing everything she could to save lives as a Michigander. All you have to do is listen to this horrendous wench toot her own horn to realize it's people like her that destroy our country.

So it's a type of democracy then?

Just making sure I'm still right over here.

Correct. It’s a much bigger thing than your BS narrow word parsing which totally misrepresents what our government is. Just like I said.

And yes correct you are a disingenuous word parser.

Care to make a bet? Like most of us really care if somebody is causing that idiot Whitmer grief? If it were BLM or ANTIFA that would just make it even more hilarious.
no need...you all have demonstrated your ability to move goal posts as far as you can to fit your narrative.
