Ferguson Riots

Michael Brown’s church burned to the ground during the first night of the Ferguson riots. The Flood Christian Church pastor blames white supremacists for the fire that destroyed the house of worship. The Missouri church attended regularly by the Mike Brown family is located about three miles from downtown Ferguson, where more than one dozen buildings were leveled by intentional blazes after the Darren Wilson decision was read on Monday evening.

Michael Brown’s Church Burned To The Ground, Pastor Blames White Supremacists

Ok, I had 3 live streams running... Uhm, how in the hell did I miss this?

I've seen video of the kid walking up and down. The sidewalk pointing the gun. Yours does not show that.

Also, the video you show indicates the kid reached for the gun in his waist area. Lifted his jacket, it appears.

You weren't there. You didn't pull up in the car and have a guy reach for a gun. Easy for you to judge in hindsight.

What if the video showed the officer hesitate 1 second more... and the kid shot and kill him.

Did the kid have something in his hands? I couldn't tell. I know you couldn't either, yet you rush to judgment. Interesting

Why would the cops roll up right next to him if they saw that and thought it was a real gun? That doesn't seem like the best strategy to me.

You sir would be so wrong.

Let me go down the list of reasons why this is all the parents fault and THEY should be ashamed of themselves.

-12 year old in a park by himself, no parents in sight.
-12 year old carrying around a pellet gun he shouldn't have, that he really could hurt himself with or some other person or child.
-12 year old carrying around a pellet gun he shouldn't have had with the bright orange marker torn off so it'd look more REAL and indistinguishable from a real gun.
-12 year old who was clearly not taught to listen to police officers when they tell you to either do or not do something.

Wow. Solid post LG.

To your last paragraph that would be considered "justice" by many in Ferguson and many across the country.

I don't know how recent the laws changed but I used to have pellet guns with no orange tips, and I'm not an old dude.

I know it seems to be a point many are talking about now.
Some of the older ones you couldnt tell without handling them if they were real or not.

W Its a ****ing 12 year old.

Did he point a gun at the cop? If he did, you are blaming the wrong person. Age is irrelevant. A gun can kill whether t is used by a 12 year old or 20 year old. His parents are the ones to blame.

No ****, einstein. You're still talking about a ****ing kid that was killed for little reason.

No, he was killed for having a toy gun that was indistinguishable from a real gun. If he had better parenting he'd probably be at home with his family.

Ted Nugent on Ferguson. Pretty straight as you would expect from him:

Mad World NewsTed Nugent's Blunt Response To Ferguson Madness Has Liberals TICKED

Many may disagree with his straight forward approach but he's making some truthful and valid points such as this:

Here’s the lessons from Ferguson America- Don’t let your kids growup to be thugs

When a cop tells you to get out of the middle of the street, obey him & don’t attack him

And dont claim that “black lives matter” when you ignore the millions you abort & slaughter each & every day by other blacks.

Those of us with a soul do indeed believe black lives matter, as all lives matter.

Well, according to the official report, the cops said the kid's gun was in his waist and that he went for it, which is why they shot him, so we actually do know that it wasn't in his hands.

There is nothing right about what happened. Facts:

- 911 report was that the gun was "probably fake"
- cops roll up within a few feet of the child
- they had no time to tell him to drop the weapon, nor did the kid have any time to comply/refuse

If the cops are so scared of this dangerous child, why would they roll up on him like that?

You're worse than the rioters in Ferguson who refuse to accept evidence they can't see with their own eyes. You can see this ****!

I don't think anyone here condones the killing of a minor but you need to let all of the facts come out in regards to this case first. It's still in the early stages.

See my prior post.

And every kid I knew had a realistic pistol pellet gun when I was a kid. 12 year olds can't be at the park?

Nothing of what I said indicates anything about canines. A kid with a gun is just as dangerous as a thug with a gun.

Then why roll up on him like that if he's such a threat? That's the last thing I would do, and can't be SOP. It's not safe for either party.

There may be some blame to be put on the dispatcher. The caller(s) told the dispatcher that it may or may not be a toy gun. The dispatcher never relayed this info to the responding officer(s). Whether or not the officer(s) would have treated the situation differently knowing that info is anyone's guess and probably can't be proven or disproven.

I can't disagree with any of those points posted that Nugent made.

I cannot speak for the approach made by the officer(s), or whether or not that was standard procedure.

That's the exact same question I asked last page. To me, it doesn't make sense the way they rolled up right next to him if they were afraid he had a live firearm.
