And Wade did not lead with the crown of his helmet, nor did he launch himself into Lawrence. Wade did make helmet to helmet contact, though... so, by the letter of the rule, it is correct... but cheap.

the crazy thing is that it doesn't even have to be helmet to helmet - you lead with the crown and even if Lawrence doesn't duck it could still be called. Can't hit a basically stationary person with the crown of your helmet first

And I've complained about these calls for 3 4 years now.

That was a great defensive play negated because of "protection of the game".

Was not malicious at all. Lawrence ducked into it.
