If we do, which I think is slim, it’s a one way ticket to a road loss somewhere.

I like our chances. Other than maybe Autzen stadium, we won’t be playing anywhere as tough as Athens at night, and one positive takeaway from last nights game was Nico’s composure. He didn’t seem to be rattled at all (except when the line broke down).

I just went to the espn play off predictor. Now it was last updated November 13th but it still says the same thing this morning. Will be interesting to see what it says when they update it again
They posted the graphic last nt during the game - 53% with loss to UGA.

Kirk then rambled on stating a three loss GA team could still make playoffs due to schedule.

Shouldn’t but they’re not leaving a one loss Miami out and Miami might not even make the ACC Championship.
I think if Miami fails to make the championship game, they might get left out. But is there actually a scenario where that happens without them getting a second loss?

Yep. SMU in undefeated and Clemson has 1 loss. I haven’t looked at the tiebreakers as it doesn’t really matter until the season is done but it is possible. I’d almost like our chances better if Clemson got left out as our resume stacks up well against them.

Looks like Miami/SMU hold the tiebreaker advantage and Clemson is out of conference games.

Still going to root for USC to dominate them though. Every bit of SEC good vibes helps

Nah bro one bid league according to him. You are wrong.
It certainly is now thank goodness. Now we need the ACC to crap the bed. Clemson almost did yesterday but they pulled it out.

Ok, so I decided to look at the tiebreakers. We actually might be ok with the ACC. It looks like Miami is a near lock to make the title game if they win out. Clemson is on the outside looking in thanks to how the tiebreaker rules work. With that said, the ACC is likely a one bid league unless Clemson wins out and gets taken. Surely we would get in over Clemson.

Clemson has two losses. Georgia annihilated them early

Here’s who is likely getting in, barring a ND upset:

ACC Champ
Big 12 Champ
Group of 5 Champ
ND
4 B1G teams
4 SEC teams

If ND loses there will be a 5th SEC team.
Yep. Likely we are seen as that 5th SEC team currently. Still some ball left. Take care if biz and it’ll be a good year however the chips fall.

We have a better resume than Ole Miss. They should be the 5th SEC team. Committee changes their criteria all the time so who knows what they will do.

What are your thoughts if it comes down to 10-2 vs 11-1 Indiana if Ohio State beats them by 4 TDs?

Indiana would have played no one outside of Ohio State. If they get blown out I see no way they make the playoffs. The thing that scares me is Ohio State hasn’t been dominate this year so it will likely be a close game and Indiana will stay in the top 12.

Had dinner with half a dozen Clemson fans this week, and all agreed that the Cocks were going to blast them.

Clemson is smoke and mirrors and even their fans see it.

That’s basically exactly PSU’s resume and they’re considering a virtual lock. Must be nice to only play one good team all year, lose, and still make the playoffs.
