Happy Valley might be tougher than Sanford, but the opponent isn’t nearly as daunting.

Yep. I know the media was trying to sell Georgia as has-been, and I hope that comes true at some point, but they are a team that is loaded with talent. They had a very bad game against Ole Miss, kinda like we did against Arkansas. People forget that they schooled Texas on the road. You win some, you lose some. We are in a much better place than we were a few years ago. I still feel good. The sky isn’t falling yet.

We are right where we were expected to be at this point in the season. The only difference is we dropped Arkansas instead of Oklahoma.

Edit: if we end up playing Penn state the final might legitimately be 10-9 or something lol. Two defense heavy teams.

It’s ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that the B1G would get 4 teams regardless. That entire conference is a joke. Not one of them could survive the SEC.

We unfortunately eat our own. And that’s going to be the case going forward!

YES! YES! We could have avoided it all by beating an inferior opponent in Arky. Also if our D would have been the same D we had all year last night, we probably knocked off UGA as well and sitting in a much better position.

And we have still yet to play a complete game.

Florida beats Ole Miss in the Swamp
Ohio State blows out Indiana
Notre Dame loses to Army or USC
Bama loses to OU or Auburn
Texas AM beats Texas?

Plenty of ways for us to get back in

We just got ranked 11th in the coaches poll. So at least the coaches have at least that much respect for us.

Was expecting them to completely disrespect us and have Boise and SMU jump us or something.

If we do, which I think is slim, it’s a one way ticket to a road loss somewhere.
We would more than likely be playing Penn State in the 6/11 matchup. I love that draw out of the other first round options. Would you rather play at Oregon/Ohio State, Penn State, or Notre Dame/one of the other SEC teams. Penn State would be the easiest path to moving onto the next round.

We have a better resume than Ole Miss. They should be the 5th SEC team. Committee changes their criteria all the time so who knows what they will do.
The committee is all over the place. Right now they’d take Ole Miss over us. The season isn’t done though.

Indiana would have played no one outside of Ohio State. If they get blown out I see no way they make the playoffs. The thing that scares me is Ohio State hasn’t been dominate this year so it will likely be a close game and Indiana will stay in the top 12.
Agreed. Hopefully we’re wrong and OSU destroys them. If it’s close I hope Indiana wins.

I don’t see the ACC getting 2 in looking at the rankings.
The only would’ve been Miami not playing in the championship game. Now that I’ve looked at the ACC tiebreakers I think we’re good there. Miami will play in the title game unless they lose again, of course.
