Literally all of you are so pathetic with your constant complaining about CHW. 100% graduation rate continued. That's the only thing that truly matters here, that these young women are getting an Education. They're not here to appease you all. I'm sorry, but the vast majority of you people are incredibly dense and disrespectful. Get a new hobby besides being constantly hateful.

Yes, because they were given scholarships to attend University of Tennessee based on the hopes that they would graduate. And Holly is paid $600k+ per year to make sure that her players graduate and not, oh, you know, field a strong basketball team.

I would recommend that Holly study the tape of the Uconn/Syracuse game. An orchestrated offense is a pleasure to watch. Holly has been talking about offense changes for years. It still looks the same to me. I do not think Holly and staff have the IQ to try and coach a read and react offense that Holly seems to try and employ.
The new recruits at any school, at any school have a serious adjustment to make let alone learning a new system. I wish the new recruits next year all the luck in the world.

I wonder how many of these young women would take a degree over a guaranteed WNBA contract? What's pathetic is how Warlick has taken the Lady Vols and put them into the ditch. Don't talk about someone being dense when this garbage you've posted shows a clear lack of understanding of what is happening to this program.

No one pays to watch them take an exam. Besides winning and graduating players are not mutually exclusive of each other.

That's great, now let's talk about how it works in the real world. They're here to appease us all. Boosters don't really give a **** about graduation rates, they care about winning. Less winning means less money for the university, and less money for the university means a worse academic profile.

Tennessee Lady Vols basketball is a powerful brand, but it is a fragile brand. Unlike college football, women's basketball isn't big enough to have brands that remain highly profitable even when the team isn't winning. The longer they stay irrelevant - and make no mistake, in this sport irrelevant means anything less than outright winning the national championship - the more it hurts the university as a whole in the long run.

If Tennessee wants to be complacent and doesn't value a championship winning women's basketball program, so be it. Many universities don't, and maybe UT thinks it would be wiser to invest more into the football program than to prop up a smaller program with a unique profile. But looking at a graduation rate as "the only thing that matters" even in an academic context with our women's team is very shortsighted.

well arm chair needs to get hell offf here but i challenge him.who were the 2 lady vol players on 1984 olympic team pat coached or even better the 2 on the 76 squad or the starting center for our 87 national champs?there would not be womens basketball as we know it today unless for pat summitt.

Not to this caliber of BB athlete.
And I can say this because I HAVE worked with this level.

These are student athletes who come to UT to try to go pro. We have two who are contemplating going pro right now.

For most of the players of this caliber,their degree is a backup plan, not a goal!
