First the devil's lettuce and now this...

Speaking on the devils lettuce..haven't had it in 25 years.

A few weeks ago I watched a person wracked with anxiety and other mental health issues, with an undiagnosable (currently) muscle and joint paint (from chemotherapy) that crippled them, drop a quarter of a Delta 9 gummy and in 20 minutes become pain free and back to their old self..It was pretty amazing.

While I haven't given AF about marijuana after seeing it help someone in legit dire straits I've become such a huge proponent of it I have officially moved to a non drug testing position within the US government. :)

Same.

Haven't had Bud Light since I was poor 20+ years ago. I'll stick to my local non IPA craft brews (I know not many) and regional distilleries.

I love craft brews but these Colorado Breweries are all Hop crazy IPAs...just give me a good Irish Red, Porter Scottish Ale or Stout. I drink Diet Coors when I don't want to get too buzzed.

They quit testing a bunch of us at Space Force because there were too many positive hits, especially the younger lads.

It has wonderful medical uses.

So opposing the mutilation of people and affirmation of destructive behavior is equivalent to not giving an objectively proven vaccine?

Here is an article discussing the topic followed by a link to the most comprehensive study of our disagreement. It is from before the issue became so politicized in the US. It is from Sweden and not swayed like the APA.

https://www.heritage.org/gender/commentary/sex-reassignment-doesnt-work-here-the-evidence

Long-Term Follow-Up of Transsexual Persons Undergoing Sex Reassignment Surgery: Cohort Study in Sweden

The control group is the general public....in other words, people born without gender dysphoria, LOL. It takes about 30 seconds to see the conclusion is worthless. Forget about the fact that it's only 324 people and started 50 years ago and ended 20 years ago. Where do you get that this is the most comprehensive? The Heritage foundation article opines Sweden in 1973 was culturally strongly supportive of transgenderism without supporting that statement. I'm gonna go ahead and doubt that opinion.

More comprehensive than 7k+ participants?

Regret after Gender-affirmation Surgery: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Prevalence

Right. You "doubt that opinion". That's all we needed.

If you have a more comprehensive, honest study then post it.

You dismissed what I posted then posted that? A study of "reported regret"? You really think people are going to mutilate their bodies in some sort of deluded effort to change their biological sex and then admit that they "regret" it? Seriously? The study is based on a premise designed to produce a particular result.

I've personally seen a bunch of boomers change their tune on weed. Men and women that used to be part of the "ban it forever, it leads to hard drug use, it ruins lives" who now are eating gummies every single day.

I'm glad this person is finding relief from it. It's sad that there are still states (and the federal gubmint) that are still behind the times.

Wait, you have a problem with me doubting an unsupported opinion about an entire culture from a guy trying to sell us an article from a point of view that benefits his career...and then in the same exact ****ing post you doubt thousands of anonymous people who are not putting their names to their regret? Why would they be lying en masse if we don't know who they are and it doesn't affect them? Self-reported polls are problematic, but not as problematic as control group that is incomparable.

You said it's the most comprehensive and then your defense is to put it on me to disprove it? Back up your ********. Just support it. I don't think you can, and you're not going to fool anybody smart with these shenanigans.

Wait, you are the guy who called him a racist and he's the race hustler? All he did was mention the existence of racism in an abstract way and you called him a racist. Get a grip on reality.
He used it per his words was to get a response. That's race hustling.

FTR, I do not oppose adults being able to pay for someone to mutilate them or to believe they're the opposite gender, a rock, a squirrel, or a purple alien. They need to bear the full weight of the choice though. No forced "affirmation" or acceptance or use of "pronouns". No favorable treatment or special rights. Leave other people ALONE and DO NOT expect them to pay for your insanity.

Children are another issue. They should not be indoctrinated on the issue in public schools. If parents can teach them religion at home... then those supporting LGBTQ can do the same.

Also children do not have the mental or emotional maturity to make the decision to "transition". We demand someone be an adult to marry, smoke, drink, own a firearm, etc... and for the same reason.
Exactly!!!

Payton can drink what he wants. I’ll pass on the American watered down weak beer.
Peyton. It's just fun to dunk on him once in awhile. I don't think anyone's serious about it. He does business with distributors and whatnot supposedly, but anyone that is as much of a VFL as PM will always be a hero to us. I think he has enough of a sense of humor to know it's all in fun

I'm gay and proudly graduated from UTK at the top of my class 12 years ago. The Vols are also a huge part of my life, and always will be—regardless of the pain they inflict on me. :) But, I see stuff like this and it reminds me that I'll never be fully welcome among our fans. It's unfortunate.
As long as you are not sexualizing or grooming kids, there is not much of an issue. The only other thing that annoys me is that on the one hand, the crowd says "stay out of my bedroom" but then on the other hand want to bring what they do in their bedroom out on the streets and have made it into a political movement. Nobody would know or care what your community does in your bedrooms. Just don't be hypocrites and then engage in bedroom activities on the streets. And don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about... the videos at these Pride parades says it all.

Also, the gay struggle is nowhere near the same as the black struggle. Gotta put that out there, also. Why do some of you all try to ride the coattails of the black civil rights movement? And also, why do the stereotypical gay men usually mimic either hoodrat black women or ditsy blonde white women?

I thank my lucky stars that this politically motivated aversion to science and truth didn't exist when the polio vaccine came around. It's like a ******* death cult.
That is because in the 1950's most people trusted their govt and the institutions around them. Can you understand why most some people have become cynical since the 1950s?

I work in the industry that probably has the highest percentage of gay men of any. Guess what... I. don't. care. I don't care what anyone does behind closed hotel room doors or in the privacy of their own home. I have been out to dinner with gay flight attendants, and guess what... it was a great experience because they know where to go to get a great meal for a reasonable price. And I have never had a gay man hit on me (to my knowledge), but admittedly, I probably wouldn't recognize it anyway.

But Bud went too far. Sorry, but they did.

You can join my tailgate party anytime amigo, and we'll cheer on the VOLS together... but probably with diet Coors or Miller light.

Ironically, the people who most need drug testing in the government aren’t required to take them. By which of course I mean Congress, the Administration, and the Supreme Court 😂

That's all well and good, and I am really happy for you that your taste buds are so refined that you don't have to stoop to the swill of a common man. I prefer stouts and porters myself in certain situations, however, if you are gonna drink beer all day like at a tailgate, diet Coors/Miller light/Bud Light all have their place. None of the above 3 are my personal choice either, but if it's cold at a tailgate party, throw me a silver bullet, I'll choke it down.
