Lmao what? Youre suggesting hes in contract negotiations with NBA teams????
Nope. Silly. But Until he hires an agent, his options are open. Maybe he doesn't like where he goes in the draft? Maybe he doesn't like the team, coach that drafts him? Maybe he wants to have the option of going to college for a year still on the table. Maybe momma wants him in school and he's tripping just to make her happy? Maybe he's not sure he's physically and mentally ready for that stage yet? Who knows, but until the die is cast, why close doors and take options off the table? He's just being smart about it. If he goes pro, good for him, but maybe the college scene appeals to him at this point in his life? Just saying I don't consider this a waste of time.
Had a chance to catch up with Simons after his visit. Had a lot of positive things to say. Loved the environment and loved the style of play he saw from Tennessee.
Said he expected it to be a great atmosphere but exceeded his expectations.
Loved Rick Barnes, loved how he interacted with his players and he definitely noticed Rick getting Td up protecting Williams.
Has no other visits set up at this time but said that he will likely take a couple more. Will not make a decision until at or very near the late signing period.
I guess it depends on how they feel about his interest. If you think he really likes us then maybe you hold out. If you think hes waiting for a bigger better deal then you move on maybe.
