I saw the quote earlier. It was from an article talking about the Matthews commitment.

It was a very tepid statement. Something like “I guess LSU leads?”

In his wrote up for the Matthews commitment he kind of gave a state of the union on Tennessee’s remaining 24’ targets. His quote was “Tennessee is strong in this one but maybe LSU is stronger” when talking about Bates
