I can't stand Brady but he isn't as bad as Lebron. He actually has a winning record. Of course, team is much more important in football than in basketball as well. In football, the QB isn't even on the field for a large portion of the game. Lebron plays almost the entirety of every game both offense and defense. So really, Lebron is more of a factor than Brady and he can't win it all.

To be fair, the only Finals that Lebron completely tanked and can take the blame in is against Dallas. He choked bad that series. His team lost one time to arguably the best team ever in the NBA. He lost the first time to the Warriors when the 2nd and 3rd best players were injured. I understand LBJ is not a very popular player, but come on.

The elite 11 doesn’t mean ish and recruiting analysts have finally learned that. Maurer needs to show improvement on a real football field this fall. If he does that then he will get a bump

He got swept and didn't even show up for game 4. That's tanking. But I won't get into another Lebron discussion. no reason to. Goat talk is over.

Still going to be tough considering his O line at his school can't block anything.

Ok let me see if I have this right ... Taulia drops 52 spots on his ranking because he had a poor or up and down performance but Maurer doesn’t get a big bump for finishing 5th because the same Elite 11 doesn’t mean anything ??? 🤔

The article posted earlier said Maurer hadn't been evaluated yet, but to expect a big bump.

His team is never out of it until that last second ticks off. Admit it, who else held their breath waiting for Gronk to catch that last heave? He’s been beat but never the equivalent of a sweep or losing in six to an inferior team like Lebron with the Mavs.

Taulia: great stats and high school film, but bad performance at one camp. Drops a bit but is still a 4 star

Maurer: terrible stats and meh film, but looks good in shorts and a t-shirt at some camps where offenses have an advantage. No need for a bump.

I’m excited to see if Maurer can take this summer and turn it into a meaningful performance on the field his senior year. Until then there’s no reason to bump him in the rankings.
