He was fired for cause for lying everyone has accepted that but you and ignore away. It won’t bother me one bit. But Jim is that you? Awful paranoid and throwing wild accusations with no proof.

I see you posted, but I didn't click on it (I don't know what it says) - I have been put both your accounts on my ignore for failing to post the information to back your claim. Your fatal flaw was responding to me with nonsense - don't worry you are not alone, many delusional idiotic people post nonsense around the interwebs.

Have a nice life or whatever it is you do. :hi:

McElwain was not fired for cause.

However, McElwain quickly learned UF had enough dirt on him to pursue firing him for cause, otherwise he wouldn't have taken less than his contracted $12M buyout. He would have sued UF for the full amount.

Since both parties wanted to move on as quickly as possible, McElwain and UF agreed to a reduced buyout amount.

So in other words... they have proof it was McElwain humping the shark.

44605 Bob Stoops +800
44606 Matt Campbell +800
44607 Jeff Brohm +800
44608 Chad Morris +800
44609 Willie Taggert +900
44610 Chip Kelley +1000
44611 Mike Gundy +1400
44612 Charlie Strong +2000
44613 Randy Shannon +2000
44614 Lane Kiffin +5000
44615 Urban Meyer +20000
44616 Steve Spurrier +20000
44617 Tim Tebow +30000

Tim Tebow... that would be hilarious

Interesting no Chip Kelly...

What do the numbers (e.g. +500) mean?

Scott Frost is currently in Gainesville meeting with Stricklin.

So Scott Frost is an active coach at another university. Honestly that sounds suspect. I would absolutely believe his representation is in touch with Stricklin but if he is actually there then they better just be debating on how many Home game tickets and parking passes he has written in his contract or I would imagine his current employer could get pissed? I’d be shocked if they gave permission to contact during the active season?

The things with Mullen are these:

1. He doesn't need to win every year, he got a raise last year on a 6-7 record and an extension
2. He is top 10-15 paid in the country already, getting paid more than Butch and the Shark
3. Very little pressure
4. He is probably due another raise he just beat LSU and he is probably on his way to 9 wins
5. Nobody knows what his buyout is
6. He hired Jimmy Sexton last year

Add up 1 through 6 = lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Why would he take the job at Florida for even $6-7m?

Why do coaches do what they do? To win.

He's not winning a championship at MSU. Dude is paid, regardless. You play to win.

Two accounts? What are you even talking about? Ask one of the mods to IP check and it will clearly show we are two different people. But I guess when your argument has no leg to stand on you have to go this route.

Report: Jim McElwain may get just $4 million, not full buyout - Alligator Army

4mill out of 12.7 million. :eek:lol:

What a bunch of dicks! Out of the 4 million, 3 million goes to the buyout due to Colorado State. So the shark humper is only going to get a million! Why would anyone ever want to work for Florida?

The article really doesn't make sense nor the person they are quoting in twitter message. They have no idea what was agreed upon, if anything. It could be $4m, it could be $4.00, or it could be $12.5m. Its really a click bait article and poor one at that - the whole Sexton is his agent thing. What they are suggesting is Sexton shouldn't or won't represent his client's best interest. I am not sure what type of agreement these agents have but I would think they owe some type of fiduciary duty to their client. Very strange they are suggesting his agent helping the school to get the least amount from the school itself.

The only thing that is know is parties have agreed to mutually separate - the agreement in principle is not known. As far as what they owe, if the Shark Breeder wanted to fight it - $12.5m plus the remaining salary this year. They are still paying Colorado State and the last coach that didn't work out.

So, when they play South Carolina, they are paying Mac to not coach, and still remain to pay Colorado State, but they further are paying the opposing coach (Muschamp).

We'll see how this all works out, if at all... Florida is onto its 4th head coach in less than 8 years.
