They did more than step in it. They rolled around in it then both coaches took turns crapping on their respective teams. It’s a win-win regardless of outcome.
Kinda like FSU fans watching that crap fest of a game we played against Miami three years ago.
It’s like watching your two mortal enemies step in a pile of dog poop over and over for three hours.
I would have left even if it went into overtime. If it were a TN game tho, that’s another story lol.I was supposed to pick my wife up the night we went into 5 overtimes vs Alabama, had it timed perfectly to get to the airport from the stadium. Parked way down Neyland so I could get on 129 quickly. Was young enough and in good shape 20 years ago so I could jog to my car from the stadium pretty quickly. 5 was about 3 overtimes too many it turned out. That was back when I didn't see the need for cell phones too.
Had we lost she wouldn't have let me hear the end of it. With the win, she was over it by Christmas.
Clock stops on first down.
I’m sure we will here an explanation this week then.In this situation the rule says that after a replay if the clock would start on the refs signal and not the snap, there has to be three seconds or more remaining on the clock or the half/game is over. For some reason they seemed to make up a rule on the spot that LSU was going to be allowed to snap the ball no matter what. They even let LSU line up and moved off the ball and didn't start the clock. Never seen anything like it.
IDK then. Also FSU did call a timeout after the review.
They didn’t need to be great. They needed to be competent. Fielding punts and making PATs are fundamental things that well-coached football teams routinely execute. It's his first game as coach. I mean are you dumb? They weren't going to be great just bc he showed up. Good lord. They may suck In 5 weeks. You don't get it
