Bama has 10 players in the portal. They probably weren’t going to play anyway and I wouldn’t be surprised if Saban didn’t “advise” them to transfer.

Yes. To lose this many at the end of the year. I get the large number or transfers. Happens with a new coach. But now he has the turnover and the dismal end of the year.

If he starts out with 3 losses against Utah, Tennessee and Kentucky…..it’s gonna be a bloodbath.

Good bet. #1 recruiting class in the country right now. Probably see a few more after bowl games.

I don’t speak for the entire fan base, and a vocal idiot faction of our fan base definitely don’t speak for me.

Napier inherited a garbage roster from Mullen, who openly stated that recruiting during the season wasn’t a priority. That arrogance got him fired.

This might be the least amount of offensive talent at UF since AU last shut us out in 1988, and the NFL’s all-time leading rusher was on that team.

Napier inherited a historically bad defense on a three-year bender. Thank McElwain and Mullen for that. Defensive recruiting has steadily declined since Muschamp.

Napier’s in-game coaching is inconsistent. We could use a full-time OC.

Recruiting appears headed in the right direction, but our bagmen aren’t in Miami or UGA’s league.

Our guys entering the portal should be entering the portal…not losing any sleep over that at all.

Napier has a huge rebuilding job in front of him, and he will be given time to do it. Whether that’s a good thing for UF long term remains to be seen.

I don’t think next season is one you guys should expect to go for any championships, but hope for improvement.

Obviously you need a decent quarterback. Any chance of a transfer?

I think this is how most UF fans view the situation. I think Napier gets at least 2 and probably 3 more years to pull it together.

The penalties this year have been disturbing.

It’s a huge rebuild for UF but they have the financial resources to do it. Pretty clear they need to find some guys via the portal to stop the bleeding until recruiting classes develop. The Hartman guy from WF would be a nice QB pickup. No clue if he has shown any interest in UF.

I think Heupel had the right blueprint. Try and find guys at skill positions via portal and develop an offensive identity first. Still to be seen whether our defense will step up and improve next year.

Mullen did this his first season at UF with Van Jefferson and Tre Grimes.

Then he got lazy af while the rest of CFB caught up with us leveraging the portal.
