Florida will hire Chip Kelly.....

Florida just signed Mcelwain to a raise and an extension. His buyout is probably YUGE right now.

They might not have a choice but to keep him for at least 1 more season.

I can't believe how lucky those SOB's are. Kentucky (like Tennessee) is considerably better than Florida this year. TWO times in one game they leave a WR completely unaccounted for, otherwise they beat Florida like a government mule. Then Kentucky takes themselves out of FG range on the final drive with a moronic penalty? I think we know why McElwain was humping that shark. It was a sacrifice to Baal for unholy luck to overcome the crappiness of his team. Clearly the heathen god has answered the prayers of his horse-toothed high priest.

And nothing happened. That ordeal is case closed by the NCAA. Just because a school hires him doesn’t mean an investigation or NOI gets sent the minute the contract is signed.

True, Kelly is probably the best candidate out there, anybody objecting is an idiot and just acting on prejudice.

Hey I know, how bout James Franklin? :eek:lol:

This season is all Georgia. They will be the team to beat for years to come. I see the Vols hiring an up and coming coordinator or mid major hc. The ones in power won't put the money out to get a Chip Kelly type coach. We've seen how they did in the AD search. I have very little faith in the administration.

Probably coaches like:

Tee Martin
Greg Schiano
Scott Frost

You can give up on the Kelly dream. I have no doubt the UT admin will continue to step on their 'richard' and not commit to doing what it takes to field a championship caliber football team and athletic department in general.

Best thing we can hope for is Florida to keep winning so they'll be forced to keep Jim.

I can live with Tee. VFL, Offensive genius,Develops players, recruits with the best.

Just give him the budget to hire the best staff.

Florida shouldn't ever fire the lucky rabbits foot they have for a coach.

If he said "I'm interested in the HC job at Tennessee...where would your moral compass be?"

Every name brought up to replace Butch, someone will say they won't come here,or Tennessee will not hire them. Just can't be the case.

You obviously dont know the UT AD. UT has plenty of money and is a good job. But its highly unlikely Currie will fight for any kind of big time name. We will probably get another mid level coach who will win 8-9 games again.

and once again leaving UT the laughing stock of college football. Florida will not allow this crap to continue and they are crap. UT literally lost to crap.

Do it now. Fire Butch and get Kelly here.....

I agree. Totally see this happening. Or Petrino
