Yes, Uncle Rico football...kind of what Mizzu and TAM does but even worse.
He actually has kind of gotten fire from his last 3 jobs as he wasn't going to be able to coach for oregon, technically 4 jobs as he was appointed general manager more or less in charge of personnel as well for the Eagles.

Win or lose its still flag football though.

First off if he was still at Oregon in 2013, he wouldn't have received a show cause. Secondly, I'll take "flag football" over the **** product we've seen the past decade.

I love how he uses the exact same argument, to the word, but has no evidence to back anything up

Look at the end of the day, UT can play puss flag football if they want....never going to beat the top sec teams on a regular basis. I think its a horrible product to watch....win or lose....rather watch uncle rico throw the pig skin. To each his own.

I would expect to see Mizzu type action. LSU played them last year, I to this day have no idea what sport they were playing. Lol To each his own.

and once again leaving UT the laughing stock of college football. Florida will not allow this crap to continue and they are crap. UT literally lost to crap.

Do it now. Fire Butch and get Kelly here.....

Kelly is similar to Ed Orgeroen. He will always have a black shadow around him, and 3 to 5years of mediocre football followed by a "show-cause" will follow that 3-5 years of stable FB.

LOL in his first two seasons (Oregon) he won the Pac, next two he won the North (Pac split)

His teams averaged over 45 PPG
His D's (averaged PGPG) 18, 20, then 20-22
He went to some of the best bowl games all 4 years
He guided his team to a championship game
(prob most importantly) he developed his talent
He recruited great at Oregon
He also "slapped those backs of big time boosters" NIKE
He had/could bring in some great coaches

So. Good luck with that flag football stuff in the SEC.

He's not good enough for TN. Fear on one side, holier than thou on the other inn this fan base.

Chip Kelly is a mother Fing ASSASIN. A cold blooded killer is for hire while we have the best roster and are in the best position to succeed immediately of any up coming jobs. We have the money and we're the most desirable job coming open.

We're about to find out exactly how good or bad our leadership is because there are no excuses to F this hire up, NONE.

That is correct, he is an assassin, said it several times myself. Would be a great hire. :good!:

We get it.... he's the best coach to get basically fired from his last 3 jobs. Give it a rest now.

Did you hear me say we should hire Kelly? Didn't think so. I just thought the repetitive flag football comment was getting old...

Last two jobs and who gives a **** how he did in the pros. Nick Saban and Steve Spurrier are on the Mt. Rushmore of SEC coaches, yet both of them were disasters in the NFL.

Chip Kelly isn't at the top of my list either.

Of course I'll get blasted for saying this but I don't think his offensive philosophy would work in the SEC.

He's another hard headed coach who refuses to make changes to his offense if necessary, just like Butch.

Only difference is, Kelly has the better track record but mostly because his teams dominated the PAC 12.

LOL "Flag football" implies you don't tackle

but some how in his 4 years at Oregon his teams gave up an average of about 20 ppg..........in an offensive (points scoring) conference at the time.

You same this over and over but he ran rough shod over your HC. So if Chip plays flag football what the hell is LSU playing? Powder puff?

Didn't his pansy a** flag football offense beat the chit out of us?? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Spurrier pretty much own us when he was at UF??
I'll take Chip & his gimmick offense any day!!

Turn on sarcasm detector.

Also over the past 3 years and so far this one Tennessee has given up an average of 22.75.........we could sure use that offense.

Its the same thing a good portion of the teams play out there, it flag football going against.. another flag football team. I did say he was the best flag football coach....not sure whats getting your panties in a bunch.

TAM fans finally figured it out.... they are like Texas HSs need to stop playing that style of football as the players have no idea what real football is, the thing that pushes kelly over the edge is the super to the line stuff....basically its the beating the refs and it can be an effective scam in a weaker conference.

Either way, puss ball.... and not fun to watch. Imo

Yeah, actually they are....but not on purpose....no OL and no DL. Kelly plays that way on purpose. I am not insane like the people in this thread....LSU will lose more this year because they are not ready for real football.

You may be right, and really we may never know.
But Chip basically just runs the spread, in a hurry up mode. I mean Tennessee is doing it, Bama is doing it, KY is doing it, MSU is doing it and most teams use it some. Just watch Bama, as right now they are doing it well.

No they don't.....power freaking football...the spread has nothing to with it. If you think that is what alabama plays just wait till you see what the do to UT....it certainly isn't kelly crap.

OK OK...you can win......I know when Bama (and others) spread you out and run a bunch of RPO's it is not the spread......its power football.

Alabama plays power football on both sides of ball, there is nothing like what kelly has done at oregon or the nfl....whether you want to believe or not.....you'll see once again very soon.
