ESPN is reporting that Carlos Dunlap was found in his car at a traffic signal that was green, asleep. Upon the check it was discovered Mr. Dunlap had not fallen asleep but was passed out and was arrested. I wonder if the media is going to let the story quietly go away or will it make news. I wonder if Urban is going to allow Dunlap to play in the SECCG?

Early reports out of Gainesville say that Kiffin was spotted buying him beers and encouraging him to get behind the wheel prior to this incident.

good point. hopefully meyer says, "dunlap shouldn't play the entire game against alabama and texas. he should only play when the defense is on the field." :popcorn:

This is a very serious offense, and the Gators take discipline very seriously....
So Meyer will suspend him for the first half of the coin flip!

^^Nah with the harsh disipline UF puts on it's players he will at least be suspended for the first series.

Was on Mike & Mike this morning and they said it was a VERY serious offence! They said there is no way Meyer would allow him to play.

3rd When was the last time he passed a drug test?


If I was a betting man I would guess CUM will handle internally and IM AM SURE he wont start saturday....this is much less serious than Spikes.....Sorry i forgot he is not on the Kick off or the kick off return team! maybe he will start

My head is spinning. A reasonable post from a gator fan??? CUM has credibility????

Seriously, hate to see this for any kid/young man with such a promising future. All he had to do was ask for a ride. I guess this has to happen every once in a while for the other players to learn from. Just glad no one was hurt.

I know for a fact that Gainesville has cabs. I used a couple the weekend of the UT FL game a couple years ago, because I was in no shape to drive. Some people just don't realize how serious a DUI is. Not only are you in danger but you are putting other innocent people in danger also. Hope he learns from this, but I see no scenario where he should play in the SEC Championship game. At the same time, I don't think losing him will change the out come of the game. There are 10 other players who are all very good, as well as, 11 backups with plenty of experience. They are very deep and they should be able to make up for this. Especially with Ingram nursing a hip injury and after his performance (or lack thereof) against Auburn.

they just talked about it on SportsCenter. Stupid getting behind the wheel after getting hammered. All i have to say to the gator fans who came on here is that karma is... a well you know the saying. glad that no one was hurt or seriously injured.
