Floridas freshmen are demanding release

UF has a lot of freshman. And I don't blame any of them for being pissed. But guess what?

UT's freshman had to go through this twice. Enjoy the ride Gators. Enjoy the attrition. Enjoy buying into a new system. Enjoy the divided locker room. Enjoy the negative recruiting. Enjoy it all.

This. Oh yeah, and if they want to transfer to UT, we'd be glad to have them.

Meyer will most likely end up in Denver to be reunited with Tim on his knees bow.

Why can't people think logically when it comes to this?

If Mullen ends up going to UF, then his system is already in place, most of the players already know him and he is a pretty good recruiter.

We aren't the only team that can manage to have a decent recruiting class come in the year that a new coach is hired. I'm not saying that it won't set them back a little or keep some players from leaving, but it wouldn't be that hard of a transition.

You are grossly overstating how much this is going to effect Florida's football program.

UF wont go through half of the crap UT went through. They have plenty of talent on that team right now.

That post is pretty dang logical. Will it be armageddon, no, but all of those things will happen on some sort of scale.

I'm sure all the FL players are upset, especially the young ones, but doesn't equate to mass exodus. UF won't grant a release (especially to a SEC school), most won't be willing to sit a year or go JC route. Plus expect a good coach to follow. They will see more turbulence on the recruiting front...will lose some and gain some, just like we did.
