I agree, unless for some inexplicable reason, a coach or two publicly turns them down. The Florida job is tops in the coaching world, and the university can little afford to look weak. I think the reality is that this will have very little to do with UT football, but to think it won't affect the product on the field in Gainesville is a little naive. "Stability" may not show up in a recruits wish list for the university of their choosing, but nonetheless is vital to success on the field.

Florida needs to fill that position quickly, despite being one of the top jobs in college football.

How does Mullen turn this job down? No way he does and he's probably the one guy that can stabilize the situation. UF will come after him with a briefcase of money. I would truly be shocked if he turned them down for cowbell U.

Not sure if its true or not, but if it is, can't say I blame them. Didn't he even tell one kid if he didn't sign he wasn't gonna die?

John Brantley (obviously unless they start with a Pro-QB set)
Gerald Christian
Matt Patchan (whom has looked for an excuse to leave after injuries)
Josh Evans
Moses Jenkins

Trust me the list will go on, these kids were in depth chart fights and lost either their Head Coach or their Head Coach and Position Coach and honestly losing Meyer was tough but the McCarney was really tough as well. Trust me Addazio held his own in the spring and the problems that came up with some of the the freshamn linemen recruits mainly Powell and Easley this is not an easy salvageable program and ultimately could face similar loses as we did....

Truthfully do I want any of those non qualified depth chart people or just ego maniacs like Powell or Easley, UNLESS they conduct themselves when they think CCS won;t turn their behinds inside out, but they may need to prove to us before we prove to them and if not let powell go to USC and work with yaw-yaw and if he turns out to be nothing so be it!

That would be very destructive to Florida's talent level and depth if they lost most or even just some of those players, particularly on the D-Line.

I hope some come to us, but I'll be happy with them just leaving UF. We need to have a good season where we one-up the Gators in order to re-gain our foothold in the East.
