he didn't fail at florida state.

football went downhill because a legend turned 187 years old and they couldn't just fire him like you would under normal circumstances.

I guess until the a coach is hired, holding onto hope....that this was a smoke screen will not go away.

(can't type...my mind and keyboard fingers are fighting today).

Someone needs to fire this Alabama mole, give the AD job to an orange blooded Tennessee Vol like Fulmer who would step on necks if he had to to get Tennessee back to where it belongs.

Hopefully in this case, he was just bad at hiring basketball coaches. Maybe football is his bread and butter. We'll see.

where did i say fire him?? i never said that other than saying it doesn't seem likely he can be successful here if he could not at fsu.

I agree. He nuked this season by not cutting ties with Dooley after the UK debacle last season. When 80% of a coaching staff leaves and you are on the hot seat, that is the time to exit stage right. Not after the entire ship has sunk to the bottom, as it has now. The UK game was the USS Dooley hitting the iceburg.

That is a BIG strike against him. Indecision. Hart is aloof and we will likely suffer for it. Should have hired Carles Davis. He's a great ambassador for the University.

Sometimes nailing one bug at a time won't rid you of all the bugs. Sometimes you have to go all out and nuke 'em with foggers. Might be time to do that here.
