I mean I know I am going to get hammered for this, but think of the games this year guys. We did not really get blown out. We just couldnt get the big stop that we needed to win the game. Other than the Vanderbilt, Florida, and Alabama game, the other games were close. What we really need is a freaking defense because our offense put up numbers. Everybody is making it sound like cause we are not getting Gruden then we are done. That is so wrong. We need a coach and top Defensive Coordinator. Give who ever we get a chance.
Another thing is that we all knew that Gruden wasnt coming, why is everybody acting so surprised about it. Just give whoever we get a chance!

Stick a fork in it we are done for a long long time as a program. We may have to shut down the university over this one. I don't really think we have any chance of getting a coach who is worth 50 cents now. At least not one that can recruit to help us to get us back. This is going to be worse than when kiffin left. Go Vols!!! All we can hope for is 6 wins a season now for a long time.

Nobody knows what kind of coach Gruden woulda been. Maybe he woulda been great, maybe he woulda sucked. The true hit today is a public relations hit-and in todays NCAAF, PR matters. We are losing the battle for recruits that see us as a legit alternative to the big boys. If Hart didn't really consider Gruden, he shoulda never let it drag out this long so it looks like we were some desperate loser who never had a shot with the hot chick in class. Say what you want, this underscores a growing perception of our program

Don't get me wrong, i think gruden would be great, however there is a certain amount of uncertainty.

I have been talking about this search for the past 2 weeks. Last night my wife said " I'm not worried about it, Hart gets paid alot of money to make this decision, he will do well or he will get fired. I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to get fired.. Brilliantly said!
