Why does that matter?

We will be the number two SEC team out of playoff regardless of what LSU and Bama do.

LSU wins, they are in the playoff. They lose, they drop below us with a 3rd loss.

We will go Orange Bowl as long as we finish 10-2 today.

LSU with a loss in Atlanta won’t stay ranked ahead of us.
LSU would be in over 1 Los USC sr or 1 Los Clemson? That's ducked up

Why is that? I honestly don't get how people are so confused with LSU getting in with 2 losses if they beat Georgia next week....

Say you have LSU at 11-2, Clemson at 12-1, and USC at 12-1...

LSU would have wins over #1 Georgia and #7 Bama

Clemson would have wins over a potential 20-25 ranked UNC

USC would have wins over a #16 UCLA, #15 ND, and maybe a #9....

From a quality of wins perspective, LSU's blows USC and Clemson's out of the water.... The Committee has clearly said quality of wins trumps all.

And LSU's losses are likely to be to two top 15 teams when rankings come out Tuesday.....

LSU's wins over Georgia and Bama far outweigh their two losses and USC and Clemson's best wins......

I just for the life of me don't understand why people think that USC or Clemson with one loss would get in over an 11-2 LSU fresh off a win in Atlanta. Wins Matter!

Let's say all of those things are true, Tennessee would somehow engineer a loss of epic proportions to Vandy. Our defense allow maximum points per possession and Vandy would look like Georgia against us. We have made our bed, now we have to lie in it. There is no redemption after that SC loss.

We would need a lot to happen. We aren't getting in over any 1 loss Power 5 team, even TCU. As it stands now, the top 4 will likely be UGA, Michigan, TCU, and either USC or Ohio State if USC stumbles either tonight or in the Championship game. LSU seems like the most likely 2 loss team to sneak in if they can manage to beat UGA.

Right now it should be the following going into next week's games if no more upsets:

1- UGA
2- Michigan
3- TCU
4- LSU
5- USC
6 - OSU

So far so good. Also, Hooker’s chances for the Heisman improved today.

Based on numbers alone I don't see how Strout gets an invite. But his performance at home against Michigan with the game on the line he folded like a cheap suit. But no way they should offer him an invite.

If I had my way, I'd want to see Michigan, TCU, USC, and Oregon lose today.....

Then have LSU and Clemson losses next week in conference title games....

From there you'd have UGA and Big Ten Champ with 11-1 Michigan, 10-2 Bama, and 10-2 Tennessee there
Nope, youmwould have bammer in.

Clemson going down today somehow makes me feel a lot better. Our road loss to usce looking like a quality loss now. My late uncle who passed 2 days ago was a huge Michigan fan too, so their win (and Ohio state’s loss) makes me happy too. I guess misery loves company

The crazy thing is a slip-up by USC and LSU (both likely to happen) puts OSU right back in it as a 4 seed. VOMIT

Even worse would be Alabama making a run up the rankings. I saw where they currently have the 5th best playoff odds per Vegas.

CFP has been clear that wins matter.... Right now OSU only has two Top Teen wins vs ND and Penn State..... I think OSU drops to 6 at best, 8 at worst. They played a top 5 team today and got throttled almost worse than we did vs UGA.

I hate to say it, but Bama would deserve it... and I'd love to see them take out GA in the semis.
