Who cares if the poster is/was wrong or right. The fact that Forbes actually monitors and shows emotion about what's said on here is idiotic.

My favorite part of this thread is how everyone immediately presumes that Forbes was talking about VN. Forget the fact that the poster could have been from any of the UT boards. Let's just pat ourselves on our backs and start debating over whether it's Hat or some other VN poster. :eek:lol:

And that post had to have been written by Hat who didn't have a child. And has never had a child that had their HEART BROKEN and come home upset. And had to deal with that child when he is upset. And kick a person when he's down! Here's all that kid did. He goes to class. He's respectful to the media. He's respectful to the PUBLIC. And he's a good kid, and he's not a professional athlete, and he doesn't deserve to be kicked when he's down. If he has a child someday, he'll understand how it feels.
But he obviously don't have a child. If your child goes down the street, and someone makes fun of him because he dropped a pass in a pickup game, or SAYS HE'S FAT, and he comes home crying to his mom, you'd understand. But you haven't had that. But someday you will. And when your child comes home, you'll understand.

The only reason I would think it was from here is because I know some team personnel who post on here. Other wise I would guess that Forbes would be more likely to monitor volquest.

True, I also think it would be even more hysterical if Forbes paid for a Volquest account to keep up with what was said about him and the players. You would think someone would have told him about a comment or two from the site in question. Then, he checked it out on some off time. But who knows, he is probably sitting at home eating his wheaties and scrolling through this thread as we speak...

If melvin googled himself after he signed he would not get much free to look at from TOS but he would be able to see that someone was calling his coach tanning bed and saying he is a waste of a scholarship. That would be disturbing if you thought the person writing had some credibility as a scout or talent evaluator. If the person who ripped you was well connected with NBA coaches you would feel like you were starting out behind the 8 ball and it would hurt your feelings.

If the person was a panjandrum who is wrong over and over and over, Forbes can laugh and say "please disregard the hater."
