It is if you want support for the cause (which is necessary to enact meaningful changes). If you're marching because a kid got shot trying to take a gun from a cop then it's worthless and tone deaf. The numbers simply don't match the narrative being pushed
The key phrase is "right off the people peaceably to assemble" which is always supported. What's currently happening does not seem to match
My response was from the post that was making fun of LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick. Glad to hear you are in full support of those peaceful protests. You are a man of your word, so go support them. You do realize that the most recent protests have nothing to do with someone assaulting a police officer. George Floyd was killed because a police officer suffocated him while he was in handcuffs in broad daylight. Breanna Taylor was shot in her home and had never committed a crime due the reckless actions of police officers. Both instances involved an abuse of force and excess in force. So you are mistaken on the narrative being pushed. Again, my point is listen to what our minority Americans are telling us. It is way to easy to write them off as a wrong narrative, when you don't want to hear what is being said.
