Really enjoyed the last 10-12 laps of the race today, lots of battles. Gotta give props to Hamilton, he drove is ass off at the end and gained some much needed points. Off to Spain...

In all honesty, I thought Webber was gonna be Webber and make contact.

Really disappointed that Alonso's back wing malfunctioned. He had a good showing considering the car was at a disadvantage.

Yeah, I really thought Webber, Nico Rosberg, and Perez could have drawn the ire of the race stewards. All of the blocks thrown, I thought it was the 2000's all over again.

Also sad we didn't get to see the two McLarens take each other out, because McLaren.

Perez going after Button was comical to me. I don't know what the hell is going on with McLaren but their troubles make me smile.

Heart warming I would say. Especially as Lewis has over double the number of points as McLaren does in total. Also McLaren still has slow pit stops.

McLaren needs to find the next great driver.

I don't know what the deal is with Button though. Back at Honda he was a pretty complacent and even-keeled guy. Now he seems to draw the ire of his teammates. That could be the nature of his recent teammates though.


Edit. Actually they don't need to find the next great driver. They need to build a car that is faster and they need to figure out why their pit stops still stink. Button can win if the car is to his liking, but he seems to have a narrow comfort range in terms of car setup.

They need to fix the pits. But make the car faster for Perez. He owned Button last week.

Did anybody enjoy the Alonso/ Checo battle? Too bad the McLaren sucks right now. Also I saw the Sky sports team sucking up to Button. When are they going to see that he is overrated?

Trust me, I can't stand Button. I know he is a champion, but I don't think very highly of him. I know Doozer will give me crap for this but for me he is one of the least impressive champions. This is also personal as well and not necessarily based on anything to do with reality, but he is a massive whiner on the radio. He is up there with Vettel.

I loved that Checo told him he was slow on the radio Sunday. I just wish McLaren could get rid of him

No way they do that. They need continuity. The last time they completely started from scratch was The Hammer and Alonso. A 2 time champ and a driver they had been grooming for a decade. They need to stick it out for the next couple of years with this pairing, they are quality drivers.
