Ain't no shame in disliking Vettel. It is very easy to dislike the guy who wins all the time, and still comes off as whiney(IMO).

Heck, some people even don't like Lewis "The Hammer" Hamilton. I of course know those people also hate sunshine, puppies, pretty women, and are likely convicted felons.

As much as I hate RedBull, McLaren only have themselves to blame for losing last year. There is no excuse for having a car that fast and coming up short. Stupid pit stop problems are unacceptable, and cost them the championship.

Vettel has a true heel thing going though. Schuie had mind boggling skill to go with it and Senna was as entertaining a personality as there has ever been. I don't think Vettel is a significantly better driver than some others right now, and he's kinda boring to boot. Respect where it's due for winning, though, but still...

It was a team fault. The DNF's killed them also. But I'm gonna blame Roman, that clown sucks.

There was nothing really outstanding about Senna's personality other than his philanthropy. James Hunt was a great personality. Piquet had a personality. Mansell had a ****ty personality. What Schumacher had was a great understanding of how to mold a mega million dollar entity around his talents, he was a relentless worker. Couple that with world champion quality, and you have prolific success.

Wasn't Prost a jerk? I don't think all the Vettle bashing is justified. Drivers in general are a cocky bunch.

I would state that he appeared to no more of jerk than Mansell, Senna, or Piquet. People want to put him in a bad light because of 89, but at least what happened in Suzuka is up to interpretation. No such thing for what Senna did in 90.

I think he's more of a jerk by using FIA to beat Senna for the championship. That's a d*** move.

I think Pirelli is finding that they went a bit too far this season. Hopefully they will just opt for the harder compounds the rest of the season. Or modify the compounds for the rest of the season.

I really wish there was a way to make refueling safer. Perhaps they get rid of the forced fueling systems. A gravity fed system and then slow down the pit stops to about 6 seconds. Or keep the forced system but do not allow anyone to touch the tires or the rest of the car until the fueling is done, like you get in LeMans racing.

He would have won the championship in 88 if not for the FIA giving mulligans. He had a right to be pissed, Senna just took him off the road. That was a silly move by Senna.


Prost was no more a jerk than Alonso.

The worst that doc painted Prost as was second antagonist behind the FIA. Rival is more accurate.

Rival would be more accurate, it certainly omitted a lot about Senna.

Plenty of interest for tomorrow's race. What will hopefully Lewis "the hammer" Hamilton can move up the field and grab some decent points. Nico has really shown that he is no second fiddle today.
