Four BEST Teams

Lol. He's been in CFB for 5 years and he hasn't fixed it. It's not happening. He is who he is at this point, overthrow Joe.

You realize he has improved from last year to this year and will continue to improve from this year to next, because unlike many, he willingly puts in the work to better himself. You’re basing your statement on a wet, & extremely windy game in which he still completed greater than 60% of his passes and threw no interceptions…

Georgia, Michigan, TCU, and Ohio State. TCU will get killed by any of the other 3. The powers to be have been squawking about TCU getting left out for 2 or 3 years now. I am fine with them being in this year if the butt-whipping they get will shut the squawking up. TCU is a good team but they are not one of the best 4 teams in the nation, they just aren't. JMHO
Also squawked when they were winning games and barely getting by but ranked #8 for a reason

If they dont put Bama in, it will be like watching the Sunday round at Augusta without Tiger Woods. Bama IS college football.

No they’re not. They’re scared of 110 pound college girls… when the refs finally start calling them for the penalties they’re committing they whine that the refs are cheating them… Saban gets on TV during championship weekend when he ain’t playing a championship game and & tries like grandma Joe the used car salesman to sell everyone on these 3 incredible wins at the end of the year as we’re improving… I’m sure after the season is over he’ll dub it another “rebuilding” year. In spite of the fact they were supposed to be the juggernaut that won it all this year… truth is saban’s knows he is on the way out and the cycle that is college football is turning against the tide…

I believe Joe and Hendon split the practice reps pretty much evenly for the past 2 years. Joe knows the offense but is not Hendon and probably never will be but he is the man now and I hope the light comes on for him soon. Let him keep slinging it and hope our WR's find enough speed to catch up with his long ball :):)
As well as bulk up. He knocked Hyatt and White down at the 2 yards line on bombs

What I say that's wrong? There will still be a playoff and they will still crown a champion, but you wanna see TCU vs UGA in the semis or Bama vs UGA?

" Bama IS college football"

Reeks of arrogance. Football can exist without Alabama.

I want to see the team that earned their way into the playoffs on the field. Like it or not, that's TCU.

Not the team that has their coach getting an unprecedented national platform to politic for a spot last night.

As the commentators on the uGA game were saying yesterday...occasionally, they will come down to using the term "FOUR BEST TEAMS". This will be one of those years I think.

TCU is no per that criteria,

So, they have to take a closer look at the two loss teams. USC and Clemson are out. It is Vols or Bama. They lost to very poor LSU team that we beat by 27 points. And, most importantly, we won the head-to-head match-up. WIth Vandy coming off Florida & Kentucky wins, we drummed them 56-0 with Joe at QB.

Added all together...just enough to squeeze into final four.

That ratings don't mean anything. They don't want same conference playing in semi-finals.

Yes and the commentators were using that to argue for Alabama, not us.

Saban chirping that they lost to us on the final play. Not enough talk that we drove down the field for the win under a minute to play.

I’m sure they would seed the teams to prevent that.

Probably can’t… top 4 w/ 1st round bye - 1 - 2 SEC teams there then with the other 4 conference champs and the “at large/wildcard” spots the remaining SEC teams that get in will be scattered/seeded throughout…

Didn’t say the standard, but did say drop. All games regular season and championship count. Said 2-3, had they been 1-2 or then they would have a better argument. Except they were #3, which would bump them between 5-6
So you’re putting them behind Bama with 2 losses? 2 losses to teams who lost their games by combined margins of 39 and 65. Looks like Bama lost to some ok teams too, not great.

So they’re barely bowl eligible because they weren’t bowl eligible after only 8 games? Interesting take.

Give this some ratio al thought.....I know that is rare on this board. What are the odds they win 3 of the last 4 to get to 8 wins playing 2 top 10 teams....

Like Bama barely getting by? Or Clemson barely getting by? Or USC barely getting by? Who are you putting above them. You’ve yet to provide anything of substance to your gripe. Everyone around them barely got by or got beat throughout the season.
