One of the funniest ironies to me is that Fox is in NYC. All of their talking heads love living there and would absolutely hate it if Fox moved to Tulsa or some other "city" where Fox is actually popular. They have no desire to live where they are loved. Same with Trump.Hell no.
They will still gloat about where Fox News stands in the Nielsen Ratings ... even after it has been revealed what a low opinion the Fox News opinion show hosts have of their collective viewership. Fox News executives think the people who watch their prime-time shows are white trash, and they are right.
100% true. One of the funniest ironies to me is that Fox is in NYC. All of their talking heads love living there and would absolutely hate it if Fox moved to Tulsa or some other "city" where Fox is actually popular. They have no desire to live where they are loved. Same with Trump.
100% true.
When it comes to the people who attend Trump's rallies, what percentage of them could afford to be a member of one of his country clubs? My guess would be less than .1%. Trump is well aware of that reality.
One key difference is that many people posting in this forum take Fox as gospel, revel in fox's ratings, and have a whole thread where they talk about how "Tucker was on fire tonight."
To a point, I can agree ... but we don't have the evidence of dichotomy that we have with Fox News hosts now.All of the newstainment networks feed you what you want to hear/see so that you'll keep watching, they are all the same.
LOL.Free speech, as was in my post. Of course other rights were trampled in his show trial, but I was referring to his speech rights.

They are not all the same as Fox News. This is a common ploy here. It's the "everyone is bad, so everyone is the same" deflection. They might all be bad ... but they are not all as bad as Fox News.
Many of the host live out of state in regards to living or raising their families- Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Wisconsin and New Jersey. Not sure where the irony is if you watch. One of the funniest ironies to me is that Fox is in NYC. Sure it is.That isn't a flaw with capitalism. What would you prefer, the state feeding you your news?
But this is known, let's not pretend that journalism, especially TV and network news journalism is a bastion of truth and straight news. There was a slow liberal creep that permeated in newsrooms for decades. It spawned a new network that was very successful, mostly because it was the only one that wasn't a left lean.As I said, Fox as a company had to settle. It was the fiscally responsible thing to do.
But that's because Fox as a news organization was so incredibly irresponsible.
The downside for the rest of us is that Fox's slavish audience will not be faced with the unequivocal truth that would have come out of trial: their heroes on Fox are a bunch of money grubbing liars who have never even had the pretense of their best interests at heart. They just wanted their watchers' money.
And secretly laughed at them and at Trump and his team, shaking their heads all the way to the bank at how dumb their audiences are.
Sure it is.
I would prefer that "news" corporations consider more than just short term profit when considering what and how to report the news.
And I am more than happy to have a government funded news source that is actually responsible for reporting actual news.
Reminds me of Nick Sandman getting undisclosed settlement by CNN and The Washington Post. Run constant coverage knowing it’s inaccurate based on the footage leading up to the selective editing, don’t retract and move on while dividing and inciting racism at a 16 year olds expense.Three basic parts of a lie 1) admit to nothing, 2) blame it on somebody else, and 3) deny everything.
Fox did well until they started questioning themselves in emails and several within their own organization internally exposed what they really believed to be true. The internal emails is what cooked their goose (admission) and their fear of getting caught.
It happened they lied/misinformed with intent and they were their own demise as FOX did it for personal gain and ratings.
Most of the Fox News programs are broadcast from Fox News headquarters, which are located in Midtown Manhattan. They make no secret of this. Fox News viewers are inundated with live shots of 6th Ave. and Rockefeller Center. They definitely are not ashamed to be there. Many of the host live out of state in regards to living or raising their families- Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Minnesota and New Jersey.
