Fox news "fair and balanced" yeah RIGHT

Looks like I stirred up a Hornets nest lol. Look on the bright side guys. You still have most the South, Fox News, and Talk Radio.

Let the Revolution begin.
the revolution gets much further and the Dem party will quickly be ushered to the spot the Republicans occupy today.

that's just pathetic. capitalism and adherence to the Constitution is now considered "far right" ideology.

the government has it's place in our lives, it's role is spelled out in the Constitution. Socialism, as opposed to social programs, is evil. It subverts the primacy of the individual and forces him or her to submit to the collective will.

I, for one, refuse to submit to the collective.

Never said anyone had to accept it. That is why we have elections. Sometimes they go you way sometimes they dont.

You really want to live in a country where the government is in control of most everything? Especially considering the bang up job they've done with the social programs they already have on their plate?

Do you really believe that seriously?

I'm not saying that the Republicans wont ever regain power. It will eventually happen.

That being said with the way the Far Right has taken the party over it will be a very. very long time before the Republican party comes out of the wilderness.

Thats what happens when you chase the moderates away and let the Wing Nuts take over the party.

Stop watching the idiots on TV. The problem is that the far right has left the party and the centrist idiots are trying to pander to anyone and everyone to find a new platform.

Maybe you've forgotten who just ran for president on the R ticket. He was actually the worst R candidate of my lifetime, and that includes some pathetic folks.

I keep hearing Democrats say that the GOP has moved too far to the right to be relevant. In case you didn't notice, the GOP ran a moderate for president and it didn't turn out so well. The Republican party's woes emanated from acting like Democrats during the Bush administration.

Nobody the Republicans ran last year could have won

Bush has really done a number on the GOP brand. I will agree totally that he is one of the reasons why the GOP is in the shape its in today.

I honestly hope the GOP does get it act together. I have always been a believer in the two party system. No political party should have absolute, unchecked power.

no R could have won because the voters ignored policy and voted on star power. We're seeing where electing an unqualified leader who surrounds himself with clueless idiots gets us. Hopefully we won't make that mistake again but then I look back to BPV's quote above....

And the "two party" system is a sham. There are no new ideas there is only one big group fighting for money and power while the citizens fight over the scraps. Until we stop giving them the power the US will continue to sink further

And why is this? Because he strayed away from Republican principles. Iraq was a disaster for him, his spending and growing government is what turned the republican party upside down, not because he was too right wing. This scenario kind of proves the fallacy of your opinion that the party has moved too far right doesn't it?

well said. The democrats and the far left have not been so quick to come around to this truth since their "star" was elected. When they see he has done little else except consolidate power for himself at the expense of the people they too will come around.

I love this new talking point that Bush was a Secret Democrat. If he was then the entire Republican Congress from 2000 to 2006 was also, because I never heard one of them bitching to him about Conservative principles then.

I take that back.Ron Paul was the only Republican that had the balls to say anything.

Looks like conservatives are trying to find religion now after being made almost irrelevant on the political scene.

I never said he was a secret democrat. He was far from conservative on the issues that matter to most republicans. This is what has done damage to the party. It is a false talking point invented by the media and the left in this country that the right has moved further right in the last ten years. It is simply false, if you can show me where the shift has taken place please let me know.

IMO the right has not shifted any further, it is the left that has shifted much further left, which is easily demonstrated by the current admins socialistic policies.

keeping on this conservatives are a dying breed bent is absurd.

Answer me this: what does it say to you that the vast majority of college students and college administrations are harcore lefty and that most of the broke, "downtrodden" and uneducated are hardcore lefty? Answer that one for me then tell me about the death of the conservatives as it relates to the death of this nation.

Really most of the downtrodden are hardcore lefty's? That may be the case in the Northeast, but it sure as hell isnt here in the south.

Go by any trailor park around the south and midwest and ask them who they voted for. I bet McCain wins in a landslide.

Gotta love them old ex Dixiecrats

You said College students and administrations were liberal. You did a 180 and then said the uneducated are lefties.

Who in the hell in this country are Conservatives then?

appears you wouldn't know one if he hit you in the mouth.

both groups are heavily left and I asked why. There was no 180 about it.

Who in the hell in this country are Conservatives then?
The conservatives in this country are the ones who freaking pay for the liberals.

Who in the hell in this country is Right Wingers then College Dropouts?

Many of the college students eventually grow up and start paying taxes, they realize that business people are not evil, that money isn't such a bad thing. That accumulating some wealth to ensure your children have a little better life than you did doesn't make you a terrible person. Bottom line is many get into the real world and realize for all their rhetoric, the democratic party is not about helping those less fortunate, but using them to consolidate their power, to get them elected so they can live fat on the hog, they criticize conservatives about greed when they are out for the exact same thing, money and power!

:lolabove:

Sure keep telling yourself that and you will start to believe it.

I swear republicans accused the Dems of being whiny, sore losers the last eight years, but Conservatives now have the Liberals beat by a mile on this.

You guys are acting like a four year old girl that just skinned her knee.

I think Glenn Beck is still crying.:cray:
