Fox "News" is Crap

Really, based on what, his stellar performance?????????

You have to be joking. At least you can admit your cluelessness.

Obama worse for the country? Doubtful. Which is why he is going to win the election. We all wish we had better candidates. The best candidates don't want any part of it. I would have voted for Rudy over Obama and maybe even Bloomberg.

Gore would beat McCain in a landslide.

Clueless is someone who would vote for socialism... but continue to make your enlightened posts.

Gore is too busy trying to scam people to run for POTUS, but whatever delusions make you happy, go with it. Obama being worse is doubtful? Thanks for the laugh.

I swear the Volnation "Politics" forum ought to just have a sticky at the top linking automatically to Fox and Drudge.

Reading the threads on here, it is clear that some of you get all of your tripe from these two "news" organizations. The NASA scientists wanting to put oil chiefs on trial (Drudge), the Portland school not using the pledge of allegiance for one single ceremony, when they use it the whole rest of the year (Fox), and the story about Obama's adviser on the economics issue (Drudge).

No wonder all facets of this society are becoming more and more outwardly combative with one another. As long as we point fingers at everyone else and blame them for our problems, and be selfish as we can possibly be and get away with it, then we aren't going to get anything done. And if ever there were two bigger whiners about lazy minorities, Godless academics, etc., than Fox and Drudge, I haven't heard of them.

Try getting a clue............ the overwhelming sources posted in this forum do not come from Fox or Drudge.

The reason I know this?

Most of the threads are mine!

... and yet you fail to see why Fox and Drudge are so popular. If the rest of the media wasn't so slanted, would they be as popular? Hardly, but continue to blame all society's problems on Fox and Drudge.

For the record, there are a lot of sites I get my news from besides those two, but if I did just get it from there, that would be perfectly ok.

The two remarkable things about both of these posts are that 1) neither of you disagrees with the premise that both Fox and Drudge manipulate the facts of a report in order to make a story more likely to appeal to conservatives, i.e. to bury or flatly ignore the fact that the pledge was made at the subject school every day except the one day;

and 2) instaed of telling me what's right about Fox and Drudge, you just whine some more about the other liberal media outlets. Even if your characterizations of CNN and MSNBC et. al. were correct, that does not justify mindless loyalty to being told over and over the things you already think.

I mean, if that's all you want, I can do it for you. Here goes.

War is good.
Arabs are evil.
Minorities are lazy and uneducated and most are immoral.
Public schools suck.
The government is trying to take all your money.
If we just gave our kids a little more discipline and fewer condoms, all would be right with the world.

To doubt the facts concerning climate change and global warming is nothing but partisan ignorance.

Laugh at the facts all you want. Those who laugh tend to live longer anyway, so laugh away my friend

The problem with the global warming debate is that the left thinks that everyone on the right is trying to protect a socio-economic order that benefits them whereas the right thinks that everyone on the left is trying to change the socio-economic order.

Lost in the noise of the debate over motives, is whether we are or are not altering things. Everytime someone points to a study that supports their point of view, they and the study are dismissed as propaganda.

I don't know what to believe about the issue -- but I will say that it is remarkable to me that given the stakes no one seems willing to put aside their own relatively petty politics to sit down and figure it out.

Back to the original business.

I don't know any self respecting individual that doesn't throw up in their mouth at times when they are watching Fox news.....it can be down right painful. (I really don't watch it much to be honest)

But in the end it is better than having the traditional media outlets shoving their "liberal value driven" editorials down our throats.

What is wrong with that honest answer? It is really the way most conservatives feel.

If you've actually followed Drudge lately he's been a bit more than fair to Obama. And he links to stories but does not write them. Most of them on any given day are from "respectable" news outlets.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but I have noticed I think elements of both parties that are positioning themselves to do some "I told you so's" after the election.

If McCain wins, I think you can pretty much guarantee that Hillary will be smirking and she'd be back and have a lock on the nomination in 2012. If Obama wins, then conservative radio show hosts secretly be delighted because for the next four years they can say see what happens when the party has gotten away from its base.

Are you a self serving trial lawyer?

Every thing in this world has slant to it.

I do not care if someone wants to listen or watch Fox News because I believe in freedom! You have the choice to watch or not.

I don't need Fox News to tell me how to think about politics. I prefer the founders and their personal writings on government!

I don't any thing is silly enough not to believe in climate change or whatever you want to call it.

The issue is losing your basic liberty to something that may not be occuring at the rate some people would have you believe.

Or better yet that the Earth naturally goes in cycles and we are arrogant enough to believe that we have something major to do with it.

but the Dems seem to think you need help balancing out what you see and listen to every day. Good thing the "fairness" doctrine is out there
