Didn't have the guts to look David Williams in the eye along with John Ingram at yesterday's visit and tell them he was leaving.

No he waited until last night, and called DW on the phone. Is this the actions of a person with character? Does this show his appreciation for what Vanderbilt, John Ingram, and David Williams did for him? He couldn't tell them the truth and thank them for the opportunity that only Vanderbilt was willing to give?

I am just thankful that it wasn't David Williams who was leaving. We REALLY need him now.

What does this mean for Tennessee football and the SEC as Franklin moves away from Vanderbilt? Does Tennessee snag a recruit or two that really wanted to play for him there? I believe that it is a good thing because Franklin love him or hate him is a great coach,motivator,recruiter etc… Also believe our chances of beating them increased.

What does that say about us when we are relieved when a coach leaves Vandy because they "have our number"
