My off topic threads are back for 2023! I know you're all excited. lol

First off, roll call. If you're going to the game, let us know. I especially like to hear how far people are traveling to get there. The dedication some people have to make these long trips is outstanding.

If you're watching from home, do you have any plans? Friends/family coming over? What's on the menu?

What other college games are you looking forward to this weekend? Can any of them top Florida losing to Utah?

Anyone checking out any high school games tonight? I have my eye on Farragut/West and Maryville/Bradley Central.

It's an off topic thread, so feel free to post about whatever is one your mind, sports related or not.

I have my eyes on the South Florida vs Western Kentucky game. It's Golesh's debut as the head man... I'm curious what kind of scheme he puts out. I'll be watching alone, don't know any vol fans out on the Oregon Coast. Wings, Beer, and football, all is right with the world again.

Finally a reason to be glad to have Comcast/Xfinity cable. Still hate the price especially on top of the steaming services we pay for. We have a choice in my neighborhood of Comcast or ATT fiber. My son lives in Nashville and had Comcast and switched to ATT and hated it then switched to Google Fiber all while living in th the same house.

Not going.
May go to the local pub, may take it easy and hang out here. May watch it at the pool.
Curious to see how Sanders has Colorado playing. NC vs SC. FSU vs LSU.
I think the gravity of that Florida game lessons a bit if we destroy Virginia. It is bittersweet for any SEC team to struggle—especially with an out of conference program playing their 3rd string. I’d prefer every SEC team be good and Tennessee simply better.
No HS games, but go Farragut!

Anybody have any remote marketing jobs available? :)

arrived yesterday, dinner @Audrey tonight and then the Opry…

5th & Taylor last night was GREAT! Found some Dickel (in the “unoccupied independent liquor stores of Tennessee”) instead of those damn “ABC Gubmnt Controlled“ in the Commonwealth.

Ready to watch the boys play!

Prolly play a little DMZ tonight and get some prime rib. Then tmr off to yahoo in Knoxville to watch the game. Can’t believe it’s finally here.

YES!!!!...the Friday off topic thread....its getting close now!!!

Running errands this afternoon with the missus.
Unfortunately, good friend of mine's mom passed away last week and the visitation and funeral is tomorrow.
I'll catch the first few minutes of the game and then it's all devices dark until I get back home and watch the replay.

Good news is my friend has a really nice smoker and it's already loaded with a couple.of pork shoulders...so we're gonna eat good.
