I’ll be at the West v Farragut game tonight. Should be good. my daughter is in the West band. From what I’ve seen so far this season, I expect Farragut will be the first loss for West since 2021.

I’ll be out of town for the Vols. Going to see my other daughter at Miss State. We’re going to go to see the post-Leach Bulldogs. Won’t be the same.
Another fun high school game. West makes enough big plays again to stay undefeated.

There are 6 of us hunkered down at Pawley's Island. We survived that hurricane as it had turned into a tropical storm. And now we're ready to watch UT turn into a hurricane on the Wahoo's!
I live in Murrells Inlet - actually lived in Pawleys for nine years but bought a bigger house in the inlet a year ago. Enjoy your stay - weather this weekend looks great!

Going to the game! It’s down the road so can’t miss an opportunity to watch the Vols and be able to lay my head down on my own pillow tomorrow night! Going to go to the Vols Club tailgate as well so looking forward to that spread

Ready for some stellar Big Orange football, after some less-than-stellar happenings in my life during the offseason.

Headed to a local brewery to watch the game and hang out with the area's Vol fans/alumni group. New season, new page, go Vols!

We decided to head toward god’s country and leave the Nashville/Franklin area to spend the weekend in the Smoky’s with the family. Will be heading to either Calhoun’s or Smoky Mountain Brewery to watch the game with the other VOLS that didn’t make the trek to Nashvegas.

My off topic threads are back for 2023! I know you're all excited. lol

First off, roll call. If you're going to the game, let us know. I especially like to hear how far people are traveling to get there. The dedication some people have to make these long trips is outstanding.

If you're watching from home, do you have any plans? Friends/family coming over? What's on the menu?

What other college games are you looking forward to this weekend? Can any of them top Florida losing to Utah?

Anyone checking out any high school games tonight? I have my eye on Farragut/West and Maryville/Bradley Central.

It's an off topic thread, so feel free to post about whatever is one your mind, sports related or not.
Watching from home with my newly converted wife. Thankful for YouTube TV. Can’t wait to be back in Knoxville in 3 weeks, though, for UTSA. GBO!

It feels like I’ve been waiting for this thread for 100 years! We’re back!!! Thank you, Freak! I will be watching at home. I live in CO, so it’s a 10 AM kickoff. Too early to put together a good menu with a toddler attached to me. But having friends over Sunday and grilling tomahawks on the big green egg T-Rex style. Will be a celebration steak night. I was born and raised in TN and a volunteer through and through, but I’m a CU alum so will be tuning into how Primetime is faring against TCU. Also have the USC/UNC and FSU/LSU games on the radar. Gonna be a great weekend, great fall and great season! I said it’s GREAT! TO BE! A TENNESSEE VOL!!!!!! It’s football time in Tennessee!!!!!

I drove to Nashville this evening with my wife, I live 2 hours south of Nashville. Ready to watch the Vols at Nissan Stadium tomorrow!

Why hold this at Nissan Stadium when it can’t hold a candle to Neyland and has less home field advantage? Genuine question.
