Daughter was supposed to watch tbe game with me, but hurt her foot in volleyball practice. Now she and my wife are going to the orthopedic in the morning. Just got a new (to me) 65 inch 4k Samsung tv, so excited to watch the game in 4k (or whatever ESPN streams at).

Funny you should ask, and thank you for the nice note. I've been working with David's sisters a lot over the last 19 months. David and I have known each other since first grade, so I grew up with him. We have thrown everything up against the wall and not much is sticking. We communicate with David via his attorney, Gleb who is in Moscow.
A while back, I was hammering the Richardson Center for help. I figured it was a bustling enterprise, and I wasn't getting through to the top. I did email a fellow on their web page and because I cc'd his sister Carol, I got a good response. A two hour zoom meeting entailed and we are pretty sure we have found the right folks to get help. The Richardson center is named for the former governor of New Mexico and consists of really just 3 people. Governor Richardson, Mickey Bergman and one other whose name escapes me. These are the right people for getting him home , and the James Foley foundation. I helped David's sisters write a letter to the secretary of state, guided by the Foley folks. The letter was to get him classified as wrongfully detained (as outlined in the Levinson act). This has happened in the last two months. Now we think things are happening behind the scenes. Google Mickey Berman, that's the guy who we now know is in control and we are very relieved.

If interested here's a link. Very hard to get the State Department's attention, but trying. Probably should have redacted some of this, but David isn't hiding anything.

Letter to Secretary of State

Gotta jump now, meeting the ABC reporter for dinner.
Unbelievable. Obvious unlawful detention of an American citizen for political purposes. I will certainly keep an eye on the news and his name, so disheartening.

I doubt Michigan State will be much of a threat to anyone.

@Freak I feel like the church congregant who has been watching too many sermons online lately when you say “if you’re watching from home, do you have any plans.” But you’re like the graceful preacher who say thanks for tuning in 😂

I'll be watching at home by myself. Hubby has COVID, so he's quarantined in the guest bedroom. Hoping my two dogs will give me three hours of peace and won't demand to go out every 20 minutes during the game!

From Mooresville, NC: Sister in Law and BIL will be coming over.

The wide screen TV setup by the pool.

The menu will be Hotdogs, Homemade Wings and Chili Cheese Dip all in buffet setup on pool edge. I will be able to eat and refill plate without ever getting out. Chocolate Cream Brûlée for desert….

I will be in pool eating at noon. I figure game will be over about time I finish first plate.

First off, no. Nothing tops the thrashing that Florida received last night.
I actually gotta leave our beautiful state to drive to Birmingham to spend time with the in laws. They’re cool people, bammers nonetheless, but not insane fans like we are.
I hope North Carolina beats USCe by 90.
My poor Peabody high school team is not looking like teams of the past.
Can joe Milton not stare down receivers and get the concrete out of his cleats?
We win big. Go Vols.

Going to the game, leaving at 7:00 am headed to Nashville (1.5 hr drive). Going to see if I can get on camera with SEC nation, look for me I will be wearing orange. Lunch will be a "Smokey Dog" and a beer at the game, taking my wife to "The Southern" in downtown Nashville for dinner and then off to downtown to see what kind of trouble two almost old folks can get into.
