It doesn't matter if you like it or not, as long as they aren't harassing people they have a God given right to preach what they believe the gospel to be.
People are welcome to agree or disagree agree all they please, and nobody is making them sit and listen to it.

Is yelling at people while they are eating lunch harassment?

You seem to be getting worked up lol

The guy I’m referencing was literally screaming at people. Walking up to the families sitting at tables eating and yelling right at them. It was bizarre. The cops did end up showing up and removing him.
I personally disagree with that tactic of badgering people while they are trying to eat, but I am for preaching the gospel in public places. And also people are free to move to where the preacher isn't.

IMO that would be more of a threat than speech.

That’s why I’m bringing this up. Some people there wanted him removed and others did not.

Standing on the corner preaching I could care less about.. but it’s finding the limit that makes it harassment interesting. You couldn’t avoid this guy walking up and down Market Square so I was actually on the drag him out of here team.

I'm not worked up at all. Again I disagree with ruining someone's meal. But if they are in a public area the preacher has as much right to be there as they do.
Me personally, I'd just find another place to eat.

And I do understand where you are coming from. I think however it is a slippery slope to go down. In my opinion the preacher at that point is doing way more harm than good no matter how good his intentions are. However I don't believe it's criminal in any way shape or form.

When you are out in public you might encounter a loud mouth preaching at you. There’s little that the government can (or should) be able to do to intervene. But if that preacher is harassing people, then a mob could easily form that gets in his face and shouts him down. He’ll figure out where the societal boundaries are located.

In my opinion you'd be a lot better off letting God deal with him. Giving him a martyr complex of sorts would probably be counter productive.

Westboro Baptist Church members are disgusting human beings. But they get to express their opinions.

So there’s this.

This is the best, most-productive way to evangelize.

Blocking people's movements is not FoS.
From the article:
...violating the FACE Act by blocking the entrance of the Northland Family Planning Clinic, which offers abortion procedures, in Sterling Heights, Michigan, in August 2020.

The FACE Act makes it a federal crime to use or threaten to use force to "injure, intimidate or interfere" with a person seeking reproductive health services. Convictions of FACE Act violations carry up to 11 years in prison and up to $350,000 in fines.

So they were charged with obstructing the clinic's workers and patients, which is beyond a free speed issue. Have they gone to trial?

Many of These doj charges are harassment. The protestor don't impede the clinic. The doj uses their judgment so they're going arrest them based on politics

So as long as you agree with the public tirade's content, it's cool - otherwise no.

Thanks for weighing in.

And public protest is what? Going to restaurants and telling people,”Maxine Water’s says”, you’re not welcome, is alright.?
