Obama said he will not postpone the debate and that presidents should be capable of dealing with more than one thing at a time.

It's all a stunt. It's about McCain getting hammered in the polls over the economy, wall street etc etc.. I don't blame him for wanting to cancel the debate but unfortunately, he'll have to do it anyway. Nice try though.

I wasn't laughing this morning but it's funny now. She's not allowed on the bed but she came running and jumped on the bed and either her tooth or her head smacked right into mine. It started bleeding, I looked like Ric Flair bleeding above my eye. I had blurry vision for a moment but it's cool now. Looks like I got punched above my eye. :)

There's only one poll I have seen McCain getting "hammered" on. There are other polls that came out today and Obama is only up 2 points, interesting eh? It doesn't matter, these polls are trash anyways.

I just saw one on NBC that showed Obama leading by +12. You can bet your bailout dollar that McCain is trying to run and hide on this one. He's had 20+ years to work on the economy right? I seriously doubt he can do anything in under a week.

My male walker coonhound jumped and hit my jaw with his head one time and I thought I got hit with a mack truck.

It was bruised for a couple of weeks and it hurt to open my mouth.

If this were a debate about economic policy it would be a different matter. McCain looking to cancel/postpone a debate on foreign policy is another issue. It's not a matter of running scared - it's a matter of sending a message (a mix of sincerity and opportunism) that we've got a real issue at hand. He thinks it gives him an advantage sure but Obama not agreeing is likewise because Obama thinks that will help him.

They won't change the topic of the debate to economic policy so the topic is a bit out of place given the current situation. It is a political move by McCain but that doesn't mean it's a bad political move.

Concerning the economic mess, Obama says he will go to DC "if needed". I am thinking you will most certainly not be needed Mr. Obama. I doubt you have ever been needed to solve anything of any significance.
