Can someone help me figure this out:
Got serious for the first time ever with trying to lose weight 5/21. Weighed myself at 210. Took progress pics each week. On Thursdays I weigh myself and update pics. First three weeks of a calorie deficient/heavy cardio diet I lost a consistent 5lbs a week. Approximately the past three weeks, I’ve been stuck at 195.
But in the progress pics you can still see loss.
With the gyms being closed, I’ve not been able to do hardly any strength training outside of push ups, pull ups, and throwing a little around on some dumbbells.
Why have I stalled here?

People confuse water weight with true fat loss. During the first week of diet, people usually do two things. 1. They start drinking a lot of water. 2. They reduce their food intake and typically eat healthier food. This results in your body dumping a ton of sodium which = water weight. Once you're 2-3 weeks into a diet, you should only be losing around 2 pounds a week at the most. If you are not losing weight, you are eating too much.Imo... every lb you lose is increasing harder to lose than the one before. Eventually you are going to stall out and be at an equilibrium so to speak.
Walking a mile burns an est 130 calories plus. Doesn’t matter how fast or slow you walk it, you will burn the same amount of calories generally. I have been walking about 4 miles and will burn nearly 600 calories in about an hour and 15 minutes. It’s all about calories in vs. calories out. Also, look at my posts from last week. There are a couple of options you can take which may help when you stall in your weight loss. Can someone help me figure this out:

Took Me about 6 years to go from 350 to 235. I had to keep the long game in mind. Just keep working. Dont be upset if you fall off for a bit, dont be ashamed to pick it back up when you can.Started Weight Watchers at 313.6 in early May. This morning I was down to 293.8. That's 19.8 down so far. 43.8 to go to my target weight of 250.
Wife, mom, and SIL are killing it as well.
But we leave for vacation tomorrow, followed by church camp as soon as we get back. So I'm guessing it's gonna be a step or two backward soon.
