Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

Slice, you are an inspiration. I'm right now where you were then, so I'll hop on board.

At my largest - 273...I think (it's been a few years)

Today - 6'0", 251.6 lbs.

Goal - 200 lbs


do it man. Once you get rolling, don't stop. I found during a cleanse that I went back to foods, diet coke, etc that I ate a lot and didn't want anymore.
When you get hungry, drink a bottle of water, imo, and the lbs will come off

I haven't drank a soda in a year and a half.
I have sweet tea at Sunday lunch only.

I drink water and black coffee....that's it.

if you can do water, vitamins, water, raw veggies and chicken/turkey or other proteins, and more water and not cheat for @ 2 weeks, I think you would be able to lose 10-15 lbs. Find some vitamins of some sort that help your body seek out fat cells when looking for energy and weight will come off without working out that much. If you do work out, make sure you are eating more calories, but it would still need to be a bunch of protein, raw veggies, nutella, almonds, salad with no dressing. No cheese. No dairy. No bread.
First few days suck, but it's just a challenge to see if you can be mentally strong enough. If you are, the physical will follow.
all jmo of course. I'm not a big dude, so I don't know all the different battles, but if I can drop @ 10 by doing that at 178 and decently fit, I assume anyone can.
 
and when we did it, my 2 oldest boys that are in the pudgy stage ate better as well and thinned out a little. The chips, cookies, sugar snacks, diet cokes, etc are out of our house, generally speaking. We will now cheat, but the pantry isn't packed with junk

Looks like I shall weigh 198 from now on.

the largest that I ever weighed in at was after I broke my foot at UT (woo beer). I had to cast it up for a whole fall semester (Kiffin's year), and I spent the time drinking, eating whatever (college ruled), and not walking anywhere (obvi). I ended up at like 320 something when I finally weighed myself (I'm sure I was bigger before I finally weighed myself).

I knocked most of it off just walking around campus that next Spring semester and Summer semester.
