Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

Down 7 to 201

I guess I hit my max and I'm dropping down some.
At 6'1" I think 200 is a good weight. Right?

I've thought of doing a cleanse too. May I ask why the poster can't put name on here?

just google 24 day cleanse and you should find a couple. It really boiled down to what I ate and drank, to be honest. I'm sure the pills are doing something, but I don't know for sure. I mean, I didn't eat one bite of bad food or beverage. It was a mental challenge as well. Now I'm at the end of it. I will start to enjoy some of my old food like wings, beer, etc, but my overall diet is changed. Even coffee and diet coke tastes bad to me now. I take a vitamin based energy drink instead, and it tastes like grape or fruit punch kool aid.

I cut sugar out pretty hard while I was in Japan and even now I can only eat a small amount of sugary things at a time. Sodas are almost a no-go.

I have not posted in this thread in a while because I hate my weight. I am happy to post a 13 pound weight loss this month!

Thanks for reminding me Slice. 166.0

I ate a late, heavy dinner just before I went to bed.

Good progress though. When I first decided I needed to lose a few lbs about 5 yrs ago, I seemed to plateau for a week or 2 every 10lbs or so. I think it was because I was adding muscle as I was burning fat.

Wow! What are you doing?

Kinda of a long story but I was taking zoloft for 3 years for anxiety. Gained about 30 pounds during that time. Which I wasnt over weight but I just didn't feel right.

I went to see a different dr. She was highly recommended. She spent a solid 45 minutes just talking to me. Took me off zoloft. Drew blood. Results came in and my hormones were screwed up. No b-12. No vitamin d.
Testosterone was no were to be seen. Cholesterol was high as hell.

She started me on a series of shots at home. In a matter of 3 months I felt better than I felt in 3-4 years. No anxiety. Cholesterol dropped over 150 points No meds needed for it. My body was at normal levels and it took care of itself. It even impressed her to the results in my blood work.

Now to the recent weight loss. Lol. The only thing I can figure is I've been so busy that I ran out of my b-12and test shots for two weeks. Requiring new blood work. When results came in all my hormones we off again. Cholesterol was high again and I was getting edgy mentally. I'm assuming I lost the weight so quickly due to my body trying desperately to find the nutrients and vitamins to restore itself to the previous levels.

Started back on my shots Sunday night and will weigh again next Friday to see if I gain any back. But so far by any indications of my belt not yet.

I know this is a weigh in thread but I encourage any of you guys struggling with weight or chlosterol have some blood work done. As we get older these things can affect our bodies very easily.
