Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

193 this morning. Down from 226 this March. Health levels have all returned to normal, primarily sugar. Only being 23 that scared the shiz out of me. I really need to incorporate more exercise. If I would cut out alcohol completely, I know I could hit my 180 target.

Still maintaining.

Last night's Couch to 5k workout was brisk walk for 5 mins, run for 20, and walk for 5 as cool down. I ran at 5mph so it was only like 1.6ish miles, but that's the longest I've ever run. For a person like me it's a huge accomplishment.

Outstanding!!

Bunch of lite waits, I am checking in at a hefty 262. Down from 280, 23 months ago. Slow steady progress. A women who works for me said something about a weight loss pill that was new called Contrave, anyone used it?

Down to 233 this morning. Down a total of 92 lbs. 8 lbs away from where I wanted to be by end of summer. Not sure if I get there but I'll be close

1-2lbs a week is a good weight loss. Anything more than that then you're more than likely not eating enough and risk getting gallstones as well.

We've been at about the same place since you started and you are currently winning. Congrats

Minus 3 lbs this week

I actually started trying on July 5th , so down 15 lbs in the past month, but for Friday weigh in:

5 week total: -15 lbs

Plus 1 lb this week

6 week total: -14lbs

It was a tough week. On vacation and we ate out some. Stayed active. In the past I would have gained 5 to 7 lbs.

In Kauai. No scale but I just finished my workout. Brought some bands with me since there is no gym

Haha! Hadn't noticed! It's good to have people to commiserate with!

We are, at least, going in the right direction. Hang in there with me! I'm 47 this month and shooting for 200 by November.

Went to Dr yesterday and down 94 lbs. They cut my sugar meds in half.

Down to 231- 6lbs to hit my goal I set to be at by end of summer
