Friday weigh in thread (suns out guns out challenge 8/31/2025)

That’s what I’m doing this time.
Lifestyle that’s repeatable forever and it is what it is.

I usually stay under my calories most days. On the weekends I drink beer and some days have a complete blowout, cheat day. Pizza, cookies etc just to get the cravings out of my system. I don’t think you should completely deprive yourself of things or you will go crazy

I weighed in early at 184.

Surprising I haven't skyrocketed in weight as my wife and I now own a bakery and I am chief quality control officer.

I’m the only one allowed to post outside of Friday

And let me tell you something else.
Light weight high reps is absolute ****ing bull****!

For example before the shoulder injury I was doin 4 sets of 8 on bench with 85 lbs dumbbells.
On advice from the PT I’ve changed to 4 sets of 12 with 50.

Set one 50 is light as hell
Set 2 starting to feel it
Set 3 “ok that sucked”
Set 4 on rep number 9.......”WTF!!!!!”

As y’all were

We use fo do what we called suicides in high school. Put 10 2.5lb weights on each side of the bar. Would have 2 spotters taking one off every 5 reps without ever putting the bar down. The goal was to empty the bar then try to work back up. I dont think anyone ever get em all back on. Some girls always seemed to walk in to a guy struggling to get an empty bar up.

Holding firm at 185. I think this is the wall. I'm pretty happy with where i'm at going from a 36 pants size (borderline 38 ) to a 32. Really wish I could make myself stay in a gym routine to firm up. Joining a gym 25 minutes away wasn't smart on my part.
