it's good to know we have intelligent posters like you here utmba... i mean really what does a National Championship, a 3-0 record against us and producing a Heisman trophy winner as a sophomore prove to anyone?
This is the homerism fault you guys have. Check his record against other opponents and consider that as well. It's not all about UT.
MBA dont you agree CPF is to conservative and CUM off. sceme is aggresive and works better?
We are just not gonna get through are we MBA
I like that your being positive. At least your pro UT.:salute:CPF (or his OC) has been too conservative in play-calling with a lead.
CSS was the better offensive mind at UF. There's a big difference in going for it on 4th and 1 with the QB as FB option he had, and throwing it on 4th and 10 as CSS did--successfully.
I think (hope/pray) Clawson will open our offense up this fall.
The orange wall that surrounds my world of college football is just too thick.
After years of experiencing the agony of defeat against CSS, CPF finished by giving CSS an SEC loss in his last game as HFC at UF. That was somewhat worth the wait. CUM is not as difficult to figure out as CSS was, so I think the Chief and CPF will have something for him soon--this fall.
not homerism at all. How many wins does Tennessee have against him, how many national titles does Tennessee have since he came to the SEC, how many SEC titles do they have, and how many Heisman trophy winners do they have?
So Urban Meyer has a losing against Miles and Tuberville. What is Fulmer's record against the two?
so next year you say 4, the year after that you say 5. How long will you continue to be in denial?
If we hold serve against UF, that's pretty good, IMO.
We missed holding serve against CUM by 1-point during a season in which he won the NC.
This fall is a must win for me to "tow the line" on this point concerning our record against CUM. But, if CUM beats us and then goes on to lose 3 more SEC games next year (again), call the spade a spade, okay?
we lost. It doesn't matter if we lost by 52 or 1, UT lost. 100K+ knew Super Timmy was going to run and we couldn't stop him.
If we lose to UF this fall, call the spade a spade and admit the game has passed Fulmer by.
I'm not arguing that CSS was a spade, or that the jury is still out on him... to the contrary, Spurrier is proven.
