Phil is probably 11th.

I'm no homer when it comes to cpp. Having said that I like his loyalty. As good a coach Sabin might be I would not want him as our coach. Imo the best thing Phil has going for him is that he lives and breaths Tennessee football. Is that enough? Idk. Is he a top ten coach in the country? Not over the last few years. But I think the real question should be...Why not? With his resume you would think he would be a shoe in for a top ten coach. If this poll was say 5-8 years ago would he be on it? He has slipped not only in Tn. but also in the eyes of the talking heads.:twocents:

Miles was about three plays away from being looked upon as possibly the dumbest coach in the nation. Lucky for him things went his way and he came out smelling like roses. I myself don't think too highly of him, but I do like him better than my wifes family does and they are all LSU alumni.

I think Miles is an idiot

So I guess you're not taking into account the confidence that he put in the kids to complete these plays and make these "idiotic" calls. There is much more than watching film and calling plays to coaching fellas.

There is a human side to coaching and Les Miles just has always struck me as a coach that will do anything for his players and really believes in them. That confidence he has in them translates to how they play on the field.

Think about that next time Phil punts on 4th and an inch from the 50.

Where did i say Les Miles made idiotic calls, I just said he is an idiot. I actually liked the gutsy calls he made, still don't like him.

again, it was a joke and Bill, I hate to tell you, but you are far from the arbiter of class on this board.

at least I don't bust on someone's weight or anything else I can for that matter while carrying any specific signatures with my name.

show me a perfect minister and then you can introduce me to Mr Roarke. God described David as a man after God's own heart. David was a murder and an adulterer. If you read the bible you'll see quite a few imperfect men, all of them as a matter of fact. Only one was without sin, pm me and I'll tell you who he was.

rex i never said I was perfect and I never said you have to be. I'm just stating you need to be more careful how you approach things. Your constant negativity and trashing of Fulmer is not very Christian like and is something you can improve on. We all have things we can improve on, but this issue has been brought up more than once on this board alone. Fulmer is just a man as well. He doesn't deserve a lot of the types of criticisms and jabs you give him EVERY SINGLE DAY YOU POST.

6- Fulmer
7- Tuberville
8- Johnson
9- Crooms
