He is the one that started this mess.

People who keep saying this are just like Obama and the Dems saying all the bad now is still Bush's fault. We are 4 years removed. Any good coach would have turned it around. Yes l, the end of Fulmer's career was bad and bad years followed. KIFFIN had a bad year. DOOLEY had three circus acts. NOT Fulmer in the past four years. Quit acting like the past 4 years are all Fulmer's fault. That's the equivalent of basically saying Dooley gets/needs a pass.

Absolutely right.

Houston Nutt didn't recruit worth a damn at Ole Miss. He had that program playing at Dooley-level over the course of his final two years.

Hugh Freeze comes in and has an immediate impact on the level of play and the results. He didn't require a "Year Zero." He didn't need to play the blame game. He set high standards for his players, taught them how he wanted them to play, and put game plans in place to put them in positions to win regardless of opposition.

If Freeze can do it at Ole Miss off the wreckage Nutt left, then we should be able to find someone who can do the same for Tennessee.

So you agree or disagree? I'm taking away from you that Fulmer still being blamed is unprecedented.

Learn to read. I never acted like it was all his fault. He did start it.

Not singling you out, but everyone who has said that the idea, tends to think of Fulmer coming back would be retarded and stupid. People are 3000% sure that he would just return us the the teams we had towards the last of his tenure. No one knows how he would do.

possibly the dumbest post and thread i have seen on this site. that is quite a feat. congrats!

With Fulmer, we beat UCLA, Auburn, and Ole Miss in 08. That's what I feel. I am not saying that woulda definitely happened, but I say we woulda prolly won because those three games LK got away from pounding with the run game.

Assuming you mean '09. After seeing '08, I don't see how you could think Fulmer does much better than Lane.

Thanks for correction. I see history being on our side. That's why I think that Phil got cut too soon. He never had consecutive down years. NEVER.

Ok Forest Gump, I know you are still upset over Bubba, but you will be spooning his big black quivering lip soon.

No reason to come to a Tennessee site and try to diss a great program just because you lost to Texas A&M.

:eek:lol:
Fluffer I've been called a lot of things but never a Alabubba fan. I live in Texas so the A&M game was a great thing. Born and raised in Huntland, the home of the true legend. Now get back to fluffing ole lard ass.

My argument is no decent program wants him. My argument is fact.

No, your argument is dead. Because he loves Tennessee. Which you don't apparently understand. It is quite easy to retire when you are getting paid $135k A MONTH.

You want to go work 80 hours a week when you are already making bank? Miss time with family?

I will say it one more time. You argument IS DEAD.
