Thank goodness Kiffin and Dooley had nothing to do with it. Guess we can just go ahead and induct them into the Tennessee Hall of Fame.

It's up to the coaches to coach them up. He gave us talent. Blame the coaches who didn't develop them. Kiffen and Dooley had the job of developing them. Sorry

You do make some good points, however, look back through history and you'll find many more coaches that didn't return to their winning ways. Would Fulmer have turned the program back to it winning ways? I don't know. You don't know. Nobody knows. All anyone can do is guess and speculate. Based on history, he wouldn't have unless he beat the odds.

That comment about the fan base was somones post i copy and pasted! Im pro fulmer. I like him he is a great coach.

The more and more I think about it...I think FULMER is the best hire we could make right now....why

We had our best olines, defenses, and special teams under Fulmers guidance. He is Tennessee Football PERIOD. Solid recruiter and human being. If we are thinking Davis, Fedora, Strong...its hard for me to say any of those names are better hires than Phil. Look at his record, he blows the others away even if you base it on just his last 5-10 years.
