I've been saying this for awhile...it's just interim, why would fulmer be such a bad choice for that? I don't think it will happen though, fulmer isn't exactly an "interim" kind of guy. That might be a slap in the face to go from nc hc to interim. It just depends on how much he loves the program (which I think is alot). Fulmer isn't a bad coach no matter what you anti-fulmer folks say.

Fulmer is the kind of person that would take a 4 game November win streak and petition for a return to fulltime HC gig at UT.

This team would not look any better under Fulmer. How soon some of you forget the 4 straight games scoring in single digits and complete lack of discipline and fundamentals his last season.

And Fulmer is too much of an ego-driven jackass to step in and help the program out like Smith is doing for Arkansas. it's just bricks and mortar according to him.

I get tired of hearing how much Fulmer loves the Big Orange.

The facts are if he truly loved UT he would not have sat on his fat arse and turn a top tier national football program to a below average team at best.

The main thing that went wrong was he thought he could live out the remainder of his career on the '98 NC run and quit doing his job. Fulmer sucked the last few years.

Fulmer no. I would take a drunk Johnny Majors and let him coach out the season, before I would let CDD finish out the year.

Fulmer was 29-22 his last 4 years. Recruiting level down.

Fulmer got lazy. Open your eyes. He quit doing his job or he would still be the coach or another program would have hired Phil.
Fulmer was a good coach that turned into an arrogant bad coach.

No not long. I was a fan when Majors was hired and was a fan when Fulmer stabbed the knife in Majors back and was very happy when MH fired his sorry arse.

Like I said you know jackchit, stabbed Majors in the back so your way of thinking would say the only reason he's the 2nd winnest coach in UT football History is because he's lucky.
