well a few things, first of all, we were 5-6 in 2005.

I am a fan of Phil, but nodamnbody can deny the fact that his recruiting was falling off.

It was time for change.

Is that you Phil? Vickie? Phil Jr.? Allison?

I would take Fulmer back in a heart beat. Maybe he'd have the Bill Snyder effect.

Unlike Snyder, Fulmer doesn't run a complex scheme that can be hard to defend. If Fulmer doesn't have top level coordinators, he isn't jack. That is fact. Look at the years with Cutcliffe and then the years without him.

Talking about Fulmer is beating a dead horse with a broken stick.

Thats 39-21 regular season record in Fulmer "horrible" years. And 2 division championships in 5 years. And for those that say fulmer wasn't recruiting during his last few years... Here's his national rankings

Try looking at some of the players in those classes and see how they panned out. Then you'll understand why his recruitnig had tanked.

How about how some of the players in other classes panned out. If anyone is going to judge someone on their down side, need to give some props to their upside.

Like I have posted before, if you displayed CPF's record and accomplishments, but not his name, you would rehire him in a minute. Tennessee fired him.

Fulmer has no experience in rebuilding a program. This was a winning program when he took over. I believe that is the main reason that no other major program has offered him a contract.

You also have to look at his record with and without David Cutliffe. He was a loser without Cutliffe.
