Found out about this last night. We were working to confirm before we ran.
Here is the thing, everyone at Tennessee thought he was coming to Knoxville we talked too. Then in the last 48 hours we were told that kid was leaning to UGA (Reed). Now we have confirmed he signed with UGA last night.
HUGE PIECE and I will be VERY SURPRISED if Deangelo Gibbs is not a Dawg. These two are VERY CLOSE..

This just sucks. Is losing tight ballgames to teams that were supposed to beat you that big a deal? I mean it's like we have the plague or something amongst the really elite recruits. I mean it's great that we can pile good players up like cordwood, but our rivals are piling up great players. I don't understand why it seems to be so tough this year. This was supposed to be THE year. I know it's not over yet, but it shouldn't be this difficult.

I'm the most optimistic Vol fan I know, but even I am confused as to what is going on. Vols have some great players committed, and it is only June and I think they'll end up with Smith, Higgins, hopefully Gibbs, Chandler and several other great players. But I look at our current class, then I look at Georgia's current class and I am really confused. Why does GA have so many great players already committed and getting several more for other 5 stars? Smart hasn't coached a down in his life and TN is on the verge of an SEC title run! It's confusing, but I trust Butch. Have to wait till February
